@Upsydaisy Oh Hi! I was going to order it on my Monday order from Tesco but I noticed under the comments back about it said it was too expensive and not worth it. The Doctor is going to phone me this morning to see what can be done. I' ll let you know what happens. Thanks for asking.

 

In hindsight it really is best to speak with a Dr. My brother( sadly disabled) has had on going skin problems in 'certain' areas and has been trying to deal with it himself ,I phoned his GP on Monday and a Dr was sent out to him on Tuesday. Best way to go really.

When I took out the rubbish, recycle, lawn waste to the kerb early this morning, these little white things were floating down out of the sky ....

Guess it's time to pull some of the electronics out of the unheated greenhouses.

Got lots to do today. Have dough rising right now for spicy beer buns, egg bread, baguettes and a gluten free loaf for one grandson. Then I plan on making another batch of grapefruit marmalade. I've almost finished the last batch - oink oink!

And I've got to start packing the tools and things in the van for tomorrow's installation.

Hi Upsydaisy, no I’m not poorly, since lockdown our surgery have taken on 500 more patients, it’s just so so busy with the amount of scripts we have to do and now the surgery are having us taking all of there patients phone orders Over the phone, I’m just very exhausted

 

Oh I see @Flumpy, I'm sorry you've been overworked but glad that you're not poorly. Feet up and relax with a nice drink and watch the last Gardeners World.....I can't believe that this year's series is over already!!!!

 

@Upsydaisy not enough snow for a fight but I felt like a snowman after dismantling and storing the patio table. Working the bolt/allen key couldn't be done whilst wearing gloves. And then packing the van. All the tools and hardware are loaded now and only the actual drapery left to pack up tomorrow morning.

I did warm up by baking a couple of dozen buns, 2 baguettes and a loaf of regular bread and another g,jten free one. I did keep warm by hovering over the marmalade mixture until it reached the magic 220f and then canning it.

 

lol fair play to you when you have finished your iv got loads of cupboards of doom lol there has been things I needed in there and I brought new because if I open the door I gotta sort it out. We gotta rule at work who Eva the bin spills out on has to empty it people staple stuff to it rather than empty it or spend agers balance something on it lol. It’s funny you say that iv not lost anymore plants but I brought a 600watt light from growells (a shop nere me ) along with few other things iv got everything eles I just duno when the light is lol I’m gona go back to the shop tomorrow see if I left it there , my memory is really bad

I worked with very young children and a favourite 'calming ' down tv program at the end of the day was 'In The Night Garden' which had a character called Upsydaisy in it and this tied in with my new found love of gardening.
