    Good day
@Snorky85 I'm glad to hear the tides may be turning :fingers crossed:

@Upsydaisy I know what you mean. With Sam's half dozen specialists it is really frustrating waiting for follow up calls. I've even had clients say that they be round to pick up an item on Tuesday. Really? Like I'm going to sit here waiting all day? So, I respond that I might or might not be here if they come that day, but if I knew what time, I'd definitely be here for that window.

Makes you wonder how important others feel they are in comparison to yourself!

Got a bit more soil baking to finish and I'm determined to be done today as rain is expected tomorrow. And it is getting messy. I have a small tarp on the wooden bench with a pile of soil from the pots and in between me being out there, the chickadees come and have dirt baths and knock it all over the place. Cute to watch but a bit repetitive cleaning it up!

Hope everyone has a lovely day. Cheers :coffee:

      Aloha everyone,

I'm still keeping very busy (that's goos) but I cleared 15 barrows of leaves yesterday and someone has put them all back again today!

@CanadianLori talking about appointments:- Mrs Shiney received an email yesterday reminding her that her diabetic clinic is on Thursday and she hasn't yet had her blood test done. So she phoned up to say that she didn't even know the clinic was still operating and knew nothing about a blood test. They said the clinic would be by phone and they had notified her about it by text and had told her to come for her blood test. They didn't know what to say when she told them she doesn't have a mobile and to please remove whatever mobile number they have for her and to do what they usually do - leave a message on our landline. They did apologise :blue thumb: and asked if she could get to the surgery in the next ten minutes for the blood test. She did so, and then had to wait in waiting room for 15 minutes before she was seen - with nobody coming out from the rooms during that time . At least she got it done :). They also wanted a urine sample but they wouldn't let her give it whilst she was there and said to bring it back in the morning. She has been given a set time for her telephone consultation so why can't a client come round for their order at a set time? :wallbanging:

      Lovely sunrise coming up

      Keep well

      Aloha!

            Morning everyone!

Sat in bed for a bit this morning looking at some photos of my grandad in Singapore after the war. He served in the Navy all through WW2 (Med and South America)and then was stationed in Singapore 1950/1951.

I'll be remembering him and my other family members who served during the wars at 11am today.

                Morning everyone.

I had the worst nights sleep (lack of) poor Bea (my other dog) started feeling sick and wretching at 11:30pm and she wanted to go outside all the way through til 5:30am to eat grass. I dont even think she was actually sick.

I am so tired but can't sleep now. Luckily it's a lovely sunny day here so I am only doing gardening stuff....dividing plants and going to sow some poppy seeds etc.

But first...tea and a cinnamon bagel...

have a lovely day everyone xx

                  Aloha everyone,

@Snorky85 I hope Bea is feeling better now. :doggieshmooze:

I thought it was quite a good Armistice Day service considering the situation.

I've visited the war memorial, cemetery and camp site (now a museum) on Singapore and it's quite eye opening.

A beautifully sunny day today so make the most of it. :)

                  Keep safe

                  Aloha!

Aup beautiful people, I’m back again I just had to tell all of you lot about me latest plant adventure ow an all them I I put pictures up of in 4 propagates about 20 types of seeds in them no order or labels . Well they have all started growing now I’ll put some pictures up later I couldn’t tell you what’s what . Also some of you may remember me bonsai accident well iv got a growing room in my house. Iv put shelf brackets on the all because iv ran out of space and just rested the peace’s of wood on top as they was really expensive far to good for a growing room and I’m goin to use them down stairs so I didn’t want tho put holes in . My memory is really bad so i forgot I’d done that because there really heavy there normally fine , I repotted 15 on the plants off the shelf with some that look nicer an a lot bigger so when it came to waterin I’m I put my bucket of water on one end I pushed all the pots to the other end makin it easier to water the ones on the floor under the shelf then I lifted the bucket off to go round the other side and water them sending all 15 of them across the room lol I wasn’t laughing at the time until I seen where one of them landed there news paper on the floor with a large picture of Megan fox in swim wear the plant landed between her legs lookin like it was growin out her pants because I’m a man I laugh at it a lot before cleaning the mess up . Just thought I’d share this with you all x
