Morning all!

Dry again here today but a bit breezy. Not managed to get outside yet as been painting that table tray thingy and household chores and making a veggie soup for lunch.

I soaked some anemone "Mr Fokker" corms(?) yesterday. I was going to plant them and I noticed it said soak for 24hrs prior to planting. So hoping to get out in the front garden and do that soon.

Double envious then as you seem to have a little private warm haven @shiney Both sites have you just about touching 13C at midday.

Just had a video chat with son ( not too far away from you) and his weather looks the same as ours.
Agree though, certainly a ' no coat ' day .

The sun has come out now and it is 21c but still damp.

Hello everyone, got problems with my Tesco app on my pc. Cannot change orders or add to any of them. Tesco is supposed to be dealing with it but it has been several days now.

Well I ended up working over time because another member of staff is off poorly and has to be tested, she thinks it maybe vertigo but her temperature was quite high when we did it yesterday, keeping our fingers crossed for her

weather here is going cold, wet and windy , hope your all ok?

Aww bless you moyra, id do it for you if you lived close. Have you tried deleting the app completely and reinstalling it?

 

Morning all. Was up and dressed early this morning. Done a few little bits in the garden-feeding birds, dug up a few bits of verbena round the back outside bordered and pulled up some spreading ivy. Took a pear tree up to the lotty too. Got soaked in the process. It is absolutely chucking it down here now, but not too cold.

I've got LOADS to do outside and feeling a bit overwhelmed. I really need to clear the back shady side border as its full of wisteria leaves but it's too wet to be doing that.

Tut, tut to your son!!! . But I can appreciate that you don't want to go ' rocking the boat'.
Try giving him scaled down meals....might come to his senses then.

Were you an official notified shielded during the 1st lockdown...???.If so you should've received another letter ...inviting you to sign up for priority delivery slots, if you hadn't already done so. But equally of importance you can inform them that you need help with shopping too. They may put you in touch with a volunteer who could maybe do some for you.
