    :roflol:... I'm with you @shiney!!

I had 'Mike' on the phone yesterday ( 6:20pm)... who was calling to 'follow up' on our previous conversation in regards to the loft lagging that we had 'discussed ' about having:noidea:. I left him to waffle on, displaying all the great friendly salesperson techniques that he had learnt before I gently pointed out to him that that I had absolutely no idea what he was talking about and that we definitely did not require any lagging whatsoever.....' friendly Mike ' slammed the phone down without even a ' have a good day'!!!:roflol:

      Good day
It is another cloudy, cold day but no matter, I've got lots of things to do inside.

Today Sam goes for a blood test and her bandage change plus one of her doctors will be calling to discuss care. I will be dropping off the cushion cover on the way to the bandaging place to combine trips and save petrol. I won't need to do much cooking today as yesterday I baked pizza buns, shepherd's pie and other things that are easily reheated so that will allow me time to work on the electrics in the greenhouse. I'm also noticing that one of the solar panels seems to have died and being an expensive item, I shall pull out the purchase paper work to see if it is still under warranty. :fingers crossed:

And the other day when I made the "toaster" sweater, I thought it went faster than usual and sure enough as I sit here, I realise that I forgot to do the decorative topstitching :doh:Shall do that later too!

So basically, another puttering day. Cheers all :coffee:

@Guy Greening that's the beauty of an online forum, it doesn't have "smellavision". :heehee:

            Morning all!

Absolutely freezing here this morning. Really heavy frost. I went straight out to feed the birds and wore my dressing gown, fluffy boots, wooly headband and wool pashmina....thank god we have the fence and trees up now or the neighbours would think I'm mad.

I didn't wear gloves so my hands were so cold when I got back in. The poor birdies dived straight in-I made sure I put extra suet and more fat balls out...they'd been stored in the shed so they weren't frozen solid-think the birdies appreciated that!

Anyway...have a lovely day, stay safe and warm x

Lovely day here ... so far. !! A long line of laundry is out on the line.
Just finished my morning session on the exercise bike ,have to say I'm finding it a tad difficult at the moment as ours has rowing action handlebars but I've been told by the physiotherapist not to use them as my arm joints are too painful ( been given other exercises for it) ..... you just don't realise how much they help balance you out and support your posture!!

Just having a quick cup of tea before a gentle stroll up our lane to the post box.

Back then for lunch and then ...a whole uninterrupted afternoon in the garden.....in the sunshine :fingers crossed:.
                  Have a fabulous day everyone.:spinning:

                    Aloha everyone,

@Snorky85 the forum platform has word filters built into it by the American programmers - ugg! :heehee:

I've just returned from a walk to the village and had a chat with a couple of rather large deer. I must say, they're not much in the way of conversationalists but they have a very good line in giving me the dead eye! :roflol:

                    Bit nippy out there.

                    Keep well

                    Aloha!

EDIT:- didn't stop me using ugg

                      Good day
I've not seen the ugg boots for years. I remember they did look very warm. It is up to 40f and raining.

My to do list is not very long as I have been working steadily through it in between Sam's appointments. She only has a telephone appointment with her GP today so no driving, parking fees and sitting in waiting rooms today :)

I plan to do a bit of vacuuming upstairs and then play with my new coverstitch machine. Unlike my overlock/sergers, this machine creates that woven bit on the back of a hem and sews one, two or three rows of topstitching on the right side. This machine will make a huge difference in sewing and finishing knit garments. Too much fun!

                      Cheers :coffee:

@snorky @shiney, it warned me about the ugg boots so I went back and added a few spaces between the words and it posted as above..

So it's not the word ugg that trips the censor! Maybe it doesn't think the boots suit you. :heehee:
