Good morning all, my rash does not seem to be responding to the Eurax cream I am applying to it. I think you are right that it was caused by stress. I have had to undergo quite a bit lately so lets hope as things improve so will the rash.
Have a good day everyone, take it easy and please stay safe and well. God bless. :wub2:

I'm sorry to read about everyone's problems ...

It's sad about your brother @Upsydaisy it must be very distressing for you. I'm sure he's grateful for your help though, and that must be a comfort to him. He seems to have had a difficult life.

I can sympathise with your bad knees @shiney be careful you don't fall. I have to kneel down to do most things but it's a struggle to get back up again. It's a good job I've got a kneeling 'thing' with handles on it to lean on. Have you got one of those ?

I hope you enjoyed your tea @Snorky85

Take care @moyra stress can bring on some unpleasant conditions.

I hope Sam will feel better after having her bandages changed @CanadianLori it must get uncomfortable for her at times.

Thanks @Michael Hewett my situation is a bit different. I first damaged my knee on an assault course in the late 50's. Other problems arose over the years and I haven't been able to kneel down for at least 50 years. Can't use a bath as that would mean bending my knees and putting pressure on my knees to get in and out. My back problem has been there since birth and had an op when I was 18. Thankfully, none of that causes me any problems with walking. I have no problem with walking 10 miles (although I don't do it now) and no problem at all with balance (can stand on one leg with no trouble, which annoyed Mrs Shiney when she had trouble with that at Yoga :heehee:).

Mrs Shiney has one of those seats but I can't use it.

I just take it carefully and get by OK. :blue thumb:

            Good day
It is still pitch here and the guessers have said the entire week will be cloudy. It is hovering around freezing which is also what they predicted.

I've got a couple of panels of sheers to finish for a client. They are all pressed and ready to go under the machine needles-blind hemmer and straight stitch. Should be finished mid morning. :fingers crossed:

I did get the Christmas cakes made. 10 small, 10 medium and one that's fairly large. Most of them will go on or in trays and boxes of cookies that I will deliver to friends just before Christmas. Cookie baking won't start for another couple of weeks.

Still got cleanup to do in the greenhouse. The 14 gauge plastic is now siliconed in place in the peaked end sections and it should help create a double glazed effect. I do need to do the rest with new plastic but that will have to wait for the spring and the old should last this winter. I will order the plastic over the winter and as money becomes available. This plastic is crystal clear and is normally used for marine purposes such as side windows on covers. I used it to make my cold frame cover some 3 years ago and that is still clear and unmarked.

Have a lovely day all :coffee:

Well I'm glad to know you don't have problems walking @shiney It's difficult when one can't walk very far without pain.

              I'm fine @Snorky85 thanks for asking :)

@Snorky85 sorry I saw your post after I had posted this morning :doh:we are about a month behind. Back in the 80's we were 10 years behind and then they decided (CBC our mini version of BBC but with all the arrogance...) to catch us up to within a month. They did a 5 hour episode with clips from tne previous 10 years along with commentary. Diedre married Ken, tne fooled around with Mike and the Ken fooled around with ... and on and on. :rolleyespink: Glad to see you're okay @Michael Hewett and I agree that @shiney is a good walker. He can fetch Pims faster than a bar maid! :heehee:

                  Aloha everyone,

I've got a lot to do out there today as we have rain and then heavy snow forecast later this week. :rolleyespink: Below freezing at the moment but I shall get out there when it's light enough as I'm playing bridge all afternoon.

                  Keep well

                  Aloha!

Like most people today we're in for a lovely sunny day before the weather changes later in the week.

So far :fingers crossed: I'm not needing to go out anywhere, so will be able to make the most of the weather out in the garden.......that's the plan anyway, but plans and me don't normally mix well.;)

Enjoy your day and the sunshine if you can.

Snow @shiney ? :yikes: Please keep it over there in England ... and I hope you can get everything done before it descends upon you.

I know what you mean about plans @Upsydaisy, I've given up on making them. I haven't thought about the garden today though, I have to go and find a few Christmas gifts for people

It's nice and sunny here too but no frost

Good morning all, still suffering badly with this rash. @Michael Hewett Thanks for your wisdom, I am one of those who have limited mobility! Back on my Tram adol now so hopefully will be more comfortable.

Have a good day everyone, take it easy and please stay safe and well. God Bless. :)

Morning @moyra , you have my full sympathy , this weather is certainly not beneficial to our poor painful joints is it. Try and keep warm . Mine are playing up considerably too today, so much so that I think there is no way I can even attempt the exercises that my physiotherapist has set me. Sitting here at the moment with an extra long water bottle on my right leg / knee. Bang goes my plans for garden duties I think....see how I feel this afternoon.

@moyra I can thoroughly recommend one......even two of these......wouldn't be without mine!

                            Good day
It is cloudy and I've just shovelled the little bit of walkway to greenhouse 1 . About 4 inches of snow so far and it is predicted to be about triple that when done later this evening. At least it's a "dry" snow and not heavy.

I've not got any solid plans today other than to putter and clean things inside. Sam is happy to sit and do her jigsaw puzzle and I join her once in awhile just to keep up a conversation and keep her company.

I need to do a bit more shovelling around the BBQ as I had bought pork chops and want to grill them and then later put fettucine as a side dish to them, for supper.

Keep well all and have a lovely day :coffee: (that's hot cocoa in that mug for in between shovelling!)

Edit: @Upsydaisy just followed your link - one of those can easily be made except using rice. make a long skinny "pillow" case. Put rice in, then sew done channels to keep the rice evenly distributed. Heat in microwave for about 45 seconds or so-depending on your unit's power and then enjoy. Oh, and keep away from mice :heehee:

Morning Lori....what a brilliant idea!!! I could also make smaller pads to place over my knees, especially my troublesome right one , I could use it in the evening for when I finally get to sit and do my knitting..

@Upsydaisy I made small ones shaped like teddy bears, well actually flat teddy bears, and I embroidered the eyes and nose/mouth because you can't put buttons in a microwave. The grandchildren loved theirs as teddy would comfort their sore tummies or whatever :)
