    Aloha everyone,

A lovely sunny day and we have been busy. I'm having a bit of a rest as my shoulder/back is playing up a bit - but not too badly. At least I can breathe without it hurting. :)

    Keep well

    Aloha!

      Good day
Heavens, I've been so busy I forgot to come here til this afternoon.

Been doing laundry, six loads so far, made eggnog fudge, the base for eggnog ice cream and moved my computer tower, display, printer etc etc from a guest (Sam's ) bedroom and then set it all up in the cellar. It's an oldie but I use it for my accounting and to print out company cheques. The bookkeeping softare only works with the old XP OS and I don't see any reason to buy a new platform for how little business I do these days so I keep the ancient tower. I've had it in the guest bedroom closet for 15 years and just now realized that moving it woulf free up lots of room for her.

Most of the snow melted over the last few days so I put the dead voles on the fence for the opossum and disconnected the electric fence controller to store it for the winter.

Received my order for more 12 more reusable Kcups and got them washed and filled. Sam likes a coffee and my son, her dad, drinks several cups when he is here. Takes the guilt out of single cup coffee making. :)

Cheers all :coffee:(it's only 20 of 2:pm here so still drinking my tea)

I also have an old tower @CanadianLori , I like the big screen and big keyboard - better for my eyes and clumsy fingers. I haven't got an ipad (or whatever they're called) They're too fiddly for me, and you have to keep remembering where you've put them, which with my poor concentration is no good !
I have a laptop too but that's as modern as I go :old:

My printer/scanner conked out today - it was 13 years old but what a nuisance, I'll have to get another one next week.

        Good night everyone :snooze:

Lori hope Sam is ok? And getting better very soon so she can have her op done soon, we have some snow on the hills but thankfully nothing here, it’s very cold though.

Good to hear things are better @moyra
Stress impacts on our bodies in many ways.:grphg:

@Flumpy , sorry to hear of the delay in moving, emergency Christmas Tree is maybe called for to lift your spirits? :grphg:

@shiney hope your aches and pains have eased.
                  :grphg:

Busy as always I see @CanadianLori , just make sure you don't burn out!!! For your sake and for your family's.....where would they be without you! Glad things are a tad for settled for Sam. :grphg:

How could we not miss you @Guy Greening ....you hit us like a happy, cheery whirl wind!:grphg:

Hi @Michael Hewett , hope all is well with you, computers / tech don't mix well with me much either..I'd be lost without hubs or our boys coming to my rescue.:grphg:

Thanks for asking after me @Flumpy , just not in a good place right now for cheery banter making.

I think that all the events of this year and the situations that they have created are building up in their intensity, as the festive season fast approaches.season

My tears seem to erupt at the slightest thing at the moment...so not much to offer on here at the moment. Hubs is so amazing at putting up with me!!!Bless him.:wub2:

I will be looking in to catch up on all your news..... and to keep a beady eye on all Guy's shenanigans !!!
The combination of Christmas Spirit and Guy will undoubtedly be explosive!!:roflol:

                    Aloha everyone,

I have to make do with a hot shower as I haven't been able to get in and out of a bath for over 40 years. :noidea:

My shoulder isn't too bad and have been doing a little weeding each dat. Going to have some lunch now and then do weeding.

We just had a worldwide Zoom with cousins. It was good fun. :blue thumb:

                    Keep well

Look after yourself @moyra Have you tried listening to some relaxation tapes/cd's . I found them very helpful when I was going through bad panic attacks. Don't know if they're everyone's cup of tea though.

Hot showers are good @shiney You can stand under it with the hot water coming on your shoulder. I find the force of the hot water eases my neck and back. Myself and partner haven't been able to use a bath for years and had the shower to replace it.

Christmas can be a difficult time @Upsydaisy. It's my first year without Beryl and I've decided to ignore it as much as I can. Sometimes memories, even happy ones, can make me feel sad and all I can do it push it out of my mind.
Just let the tears flow, you'll feel better afterwards xx

I'm glad you're able to get things done @Flumpy . Keep up the good work !

We had a bad frost here last night, our first 'real' one this winter. There's still frost in places the sun doesn't reach and the soil in the tubs etc has not thawed out all day. It's too cold for me :frown::frown::frown:

They don't work for me either. I can't get down or up from a low position as I can't put any angular weight on my knees. I can't sit in a low chair either. Standing and walking is no problem at all. :)

                            Good day
I just thought I'd pop in a say hello and I'm glad to see everyone has turned up for parade including you @Guy Greening !

I've had another busy morning but was able to listen to my beloved Corrie whilst I tried to get my chores finished. I've got to leave in a few minutes to take Sam to get her dressing changed.

                            Sorry about the short post.

Take care all and cheers :coffee:

Good morning everyone, Gosh its cold in here this morning. These night storage heaters are just useless. Shall have to put the gas fire on in a minute. The rash is still red and sore even though the top layer of skin has rubbed off. The Dermacool is good once you get over the initial stinging. I hope your back and shoulders improve @shiney and @Canadian Lori, hope Sam's bandage change over goes ok. Take care all and stay safe and well. God bless. :)

                                Good day
@moyra I'm sorry to hear your rash is taking it's sweet time clearing up! Sam's change went well. She's still asleep right now.

Yes, it has gotten cold. It is 18f here. Brrrrr!

Another busy day coming up. Taking a friend to their specialist appointment, dropping off upholstery supplies and declining the work offered as it works out to sweat shop labour pay and not worth the aggro, then taking Sam to the fabric store to buy some Christmas fabrics for her to make face masks and sleep masks for presents and lastly go to my doctor for shot in the belly. Oh, and need to pick up some groceries too, somewhere in between those errands.

Guess I'd better get my skates on as it is already 7:30 here :yikes:

Have a lovely day and cheers :coffee:
