Morning all, hope everybody is well. We have a pretty hectic day here too so can't hang around, have a great day everyone!

 

Good morning, just barely morning left for most of you!
It is still pitch here but I imagine that it is as cloudy as the guessers have told us. Funny how they never seem to be in error when predicting dreary days

I've got clothes washing started as it is low time of use electric rates today and soon I will be doing a bit of vacuuming. My granddaughter and I will be heading out the door in a couple of hours to go pick up her sisters at my son's place to come back here for a sleepover. It is her sister's weekend with their father (divorced) and it will be a surprise for them as they don't know she is in town

We're going to stop on the Oneida indian reservation on the way to pick up a few things at their store. Then when we're back and after having fed everyone lunch, it's time to make cupcakes. We have two birthday girls (cousins) so will celebrate with the cakes tomorrow when the rest of the family comes for lunch. Already got a casserole ready to pop in the oven for that and will make bread in the morning.

Otherwise, not much else going on. Just enjoying a cuppa as the washer does the work. Much nicer than beating the laundry on a rock

It is still dark here but I can most likely rely on the sunrise revealing a cloudy sky. I've got the bread makers administering a beating to dough for me to form into rolls for today's lunch and as always also a loaf of gluten free for autistic grandson.

There will be 11 or 12 for lunch but I am serving buffet style so a simple layout.

It’s another grey damp day in the NW, roll on spring.

just found out my next door but 1 has moved out, lovely couple, hope we get someone as nice as them back in
I’ve been itching to get in the garden, but it’s so soggy with the constant rain, ho well best get our washing done and house work, have a lovely day all

 

Just ordered my sweet peas woohoo! Ordered three packs, looking forward to growing them now

Went for a lovely walk around our neighbourhood yesterday, love to look at all the gardens, so much is on the move now. Lots of Daffodils and snowdrops in particular.
