Good day,
We are back to cloudy skies and the temperature is forecast to drop to below seasonal normal. Oh well, it's almost the end of February. Only a few months to go before it stops dipping well below freezing night and day.

I've got a fairly quiet day today. Only need to go out for a few minutes to pick up a few things. Although, a friend has told me he has stomach issues happening and I am on call to take him to the emergency at hospital if it doesn't ease. Last time they kept him in for 3 days and he was close to needing surgery so I know that this is not something to be taken lightly. No unnecessary drama just the real deal.

Morning everyone, brrrrr!!! It's been so mild lately that this cold spell is a bit of a shock!!!

Not sure of our plans yet. Snuggling up in the duvet sounds very tempting!!

We've got lots of snow falling and I feel lucky not to have to go anywhere beyond my property lines.

I'm going to pot up a few seedlings before the lights go out and that will give me some more trays to start more soil blocks.

@wiseowl if you've got to be sick, doing it during bad weather days is excellent timing. You don't have to waste a nice day being ill

Everything has a nice heavy layer of snow on it and I can tell by the way the large pine trees are swaying that the wind is working up a howl. Aha, there we go, it's blowing the snow into a bit of a blizzard now.

I finished two more tops yesterday then cooked a 3 meal batch of spaghetti sauce, and also a large shepherd's pie. I made too many mashed potatoes so will have to figure out what to do with what didn't fit on top of the meat.

Only have to take a friend to the hospital for a check up today and then the rest of my day will be unstructured play time. (isn't that the way young parents talk now?)
