Awww @shiney ..I can't believe Mrs S left you to cook yourself a single meal at that time....there are plenty of healthy meals that can be plated up and reheated, in fact certain meals improve with be rewarmed!

No, I don't do reheated. Don't even have a microwave. There's nothing wrong with me doing some lamb chops, boiled pots, brussels and cabbage at 11 p.m. I'm even happy to cook at 1 a.m. I did start off with some spicy lentil soup (enough for a week) that I had made earlier. :blue thumb:

Ok...I think reheating in the oven is actually better. Honestly some foods are said to be better for you being reheated...we watched a medical based programme a couple of years ago with included the scientific facts behind the claims and they said all carbohydrates change in being rewarmed for the better..potatoes, rice, pasta etc.

Personally even though I go to bed in the early hours of the morning I don't eat after 6:30pm.

Anyway this won't do..just loaded up my Dad's washing machine for the first load and sneaking a quick coffee.:coffee:

              Good day
I reheat food in the microwave all the time. I still have a portion of shepherd's pie that I made the other day to finish so that will be my brunch. Fresh out of the fridge then microwave

I'm a little bit stiff in the legs this morning. Had to do a lot of squatting and scrunching myself in a cupboard to take an old appliance lifter which I was really not ever totally pleased with, and install a new one. Of course they wouldn't use the same holes and the directions included with the new ones did not account for hinges so the first installation had to be removed and then moved back a bit and reinstalled. :doh:I also decided to use the space in the upper back part of the cupboard behind the lifter by installing a shelf. I scavenged the piece of wood from my workroom and gave it a fresh coat of paint before putting it in. Then there were lots of holes to patch before putting the appliances and all of their attachments back in the cupboard. My thighs were screaming at me this morning when I was taking out the rubbish and recycle but my oh my, I'm pleased with how organized that space is now :)

Having a cuppa and about to read the news before getting on with reorganizing/dusting my workroom. Going to take apart one wall of supplies at a time, clean and put back. Might cheat and fire up the compressor and use the air to dust off the spools of thread. It is cloudy and forecast to be this way all day so I can't think of a better time to get this bit of spring cleaning done :blue thumb:

Have a good day everyone and please play safe :)

                          Aloha everyone,

Last night's frost has already started to go and it promises to be another gardening day. We're off to a charity concert tonight but don't know how good, or bad, it will be. :noidea:

Keep well and have a great day

                            Good morning everyone.

Well I spent yesterday all day in hospital from 9 am onwards on a drip until 6pm last night. Blood and eurine tests, heart trace and a very uncomfortable bed! All because my doctor phoned yesterday morning to say my latest blood test indicated my kidneys had failed. Some of the tablets I was taking I have been told not to any more so it looks like they played their part. They wanted to keep me in initially but I persuaded them to let me home on the promise I go back to the Renal unit next week.

I hope everyone else is well and have a good day. God bless, stay safe and well. :wub2:

                              Morning everyone.

Oh how awful @moyra, hope you're feeling better today. Some of the side effects to these drugs can be scarier than the ailment itself at times I think, I've even not taken them after reading them, so has hubs too .
Take it easy and rest up today. :spinning:
