Our son is suppose to be going to Spain in a couple of weeks....he only came back from his recent travels last month.. He said to us the other day...I live in central London and have to cope with travelling on crowded tunes and buses...at least Spain would be quieter!! I think his trip will be cancel too.
Older son is off to Morocco in a couple of weeks......well so he hopes!

Yes they are at the moment but things will undoubtedly start to change quickly now I think. Numbers are increasing in the general area, so it was stated this morning.

we are meant to be going Lanzarote end of August but that could change too sadly

I’ve just got my sweet peas seeds finally sowed and in the greenhouse and also been cutting dead branches and tidying up around the garden.

we tried to do our usual shop, but there where no toilet rolls, no kitchen roll, no hand wash or sanitiser, it’s the cheapest grocery shop we’ve ever done :yikes:

My sister is on a cruise and was due to be flying home today from Lima (Peru). Last night they were told that Peru has closed all its ports to cruise ships! Peru have only just had their first cases of virus. The ship has none and neither do any of the other ships in their group of companies.

So the ship headed south towards Santiago (capital of Chile). After 12 hours they were told that Chile had closed its ports! So they turned north again and are now headed for Panama. I guess the ship is now heading for its home port in Miami. They're now not scheduled to reach Panama until noon on Wednesday. I'll see whether they will be allowed to fly home from Panama (better than clashing with the U.S. quarantining. I've been emailing since 4 a.m. this morning and phone calls this afternoon trying to sort things out. I'm working with their travel agent as the agent thinks I probably know more than he does about some of the tricks of sorting things out. :phew:

                      Aloha everyone,

The sun is rising over a frosty garden.

I shall need to go out later to see whether the local builders yard have the concrete edging that I need. It's to replace some of the wooden planking that was around the outer edge of the paving that the shed is on. That edge is rotting and the rabbits have started removing it for me and digging under the shed . I tried to get them last week but they were out of stock. If they have them they will have to load them into the boot for me.

Keep well and have a great day

                      Aloha!

Reuters announced yesterday that Morocco has banned all international flights. I checked BA website a few minutes ago and the one I'm booked on for next Sunday (!) still says "on time." No word at all from travel operator. I emailed them yesterday, but they are closed on Sundays.....
