Oh dear @Flumpy I'm so sorry to hear your not feeling well, could it be what your hubby had do you think?

That certainly doesn't sound right the way your being treated by you're employer, you should definitely check that out and let them know that they can't ask you to take a sick leave as a holiday....no way!!

@Flumpy please hold your employers feet to the flame and make them do the right thing! Even more important, I am glad to hear you are already improving and hope you take it easy and stay the course to health.

It is another cloudy day. The guessers promised that and when they promise unpleasant weather, they are usually right. It's only when these weather guys predict sun and fun that things don't pan out so well.

I've got a few little things to do on my list today. In my kitchen, people keep sliding their chairs back into the window trim and have bruised the wood and I have tried put antislip pads on the bottom of the feet and that only worked for a short while so I've decided to make little slips for the tops of the chair backs. And pad the part at the backside heavily to stop this from continuing. I'll be putting the final coat of paint on the stair rail down to the cellar. Can't do the baseboard yet as I have to wait for the wall paint to set before taping.

I've ordered a water meter. It attaches to the hose and I'm going to put it into the irrigation systems out back. Just to see how much water I use daily for the greenhouses and raised bed. Purely curiosity. This is another porch pick up. I ordered, paid and will call when I get there and they will put it out on the side walk in front of the store for me

Hi everyone hoping you're all still keeping in good health, and that you are on the mend @Flumpy .

Have woken up with a headache and sore throat.....just as I was considering going over to my Dad's to do the chores and pot up 50 Begonia plug plants that my younger sister ordered for him.....instead of the 30 ' garden ready' that I had requested!! Same thing happen last year so I actually highlighted what we wanted this year....the same person has now got the job of sorting them out....again
