    Aloha everyone,

@CanadianLori that was very thoughtful of them and must have been a lovely surprise.:)

I don't know what the day will bring but the forecast up until 6 a.m. is drizzle but it hasn't arrived yet.

Still plenty to do out there - once we get some rain.

    Keep well.

    Aloha!

Good morning Shiney :spinning:, it’s been a stormy night here and gone a little cool too, I’m hoping there’s no damage in the garden so going to have a potter after breakfast. Hope the weather cheers up for you Shiney :dbgrtmb:

Morning ,yes there's no peace for the wicked is there.....housework day here first and then I'll be back outside this afternoon.

Wish we were forecast some rain it would give us a break from watering. It's so much cooler outside this morning with a bit of a nippy breeze...you could actually hear it howling around the corners of our house.

I was going to unfleece all my babies in the greenhouse and in both cold frames, but it felt so nippy I'm leaving then snuggled up for a bit longer. They only have a single layer on but tonight and tomorrow night I'll put several on them all as we'll drop to 0C tonight and -1C tomorrow....this is a dodgy time of year with seedlings and temperature fluctuations.....so worrying.

Play safe and have a great day.

              Good day
@Upsydaisy this time of year is always a nail biter and I almost wish I could put a big bubble over my whole yard!

It is a cloudy miserable Monday and we are promised that later today, the winds will start howling and trying to blow us to kingdom come. I got everything secured yesterday in anticipation and have no excuses left not to get things done inside :(

I have some sewing I should finish as well. Think I'll do that first because using a serger causes lots of dust so vacuuming after would be a bit smarter!

Have a good day all and keep busy. I find it's the only way to cope with the way this nasty virus has changed our lives and also keep my level of patience steady as we wait for the last frost date to arrive. :)

                  Good Morning Lori.:)
Hubs said exactly the same thing yesterday, there is a house nearby that has a huge dome over their outdoor pool that can be opened in hot weather....We would love a similar now over our garden.

                  Enjoy your day:spinning:

I will be late on parade in the morning. Been a busy day. My dishwasher refused to drain and in order to fix it, I thought I needed access to the drain pipe near the sink outlet which could not be accessed without removing the slide out detergent/cleaner unit under the sink. Turned out it wasn't a blockage but the slide out unit had rust on the bottom so had to sand and paint it before reinstalling. And of course the bottom of the cabinet needed a scrubbing. Then I had to start at the other end inside the unit by cleaning filters etc. Still didn't operate properly so then had to start pulling it apart and clear the pump and the little turbine. Lots of crouching and back stress, but I believe I got it fixed.

Anyway, see you when I hobble down to the laptop sometime in the morning with my cuppa and having ingested my special fudge or Christmas cake!

                    :doh::doh::doh:

Good morning everyone, hope you've all woken up well today.

A cold but lovely and sunny start to our day down here , so an extra layer will be required before heading outside in a minute.

Take care and keep that hand washing and social distancing up!!!:dbgrtmb:
