Good day.
It is sunny here but still cold. I crunch across the lawn for a minute to see how the covers on some new seedlings are doing. Not just frost on them, it was a sheet of ice Well, at least I covered them.

Got a day of puttering. I am also working on removing the paper backing from fabric sample book pages. Some peel off with a little effort and others have to be soaked in soap and water to soften the paper and turn mushy for rubbing off. Then laid out to dry. Lots of nice patterns that will make pretty masks or masks that are intriguing.

I hope everyone here who needs water, gets a good downpour but you can always water your gardens. I can't even think about turning on any outdoor faucets as the water would freeze and burst them. So any more whinging about it and I'll be wishing you get some of my snow instead of rain!

Morning Lori.....we're definitely not whinging here as we're in desperate need of rain!!

All our water butts were empty, and we are on water meters....but yes if it really came down to it we could connect the hosepipe.

The sun is out today but cold, going to tidy up in the garden, check my seeds and on the outside of our garden over the lane There is knotweed growing, so going to cut that down again, I have reported it to the council but they say we are on a waiting list (since last year this).

Another icy morning but the sun is shining and makes me feel comfy. A little late here but I was determined to draft a small pattern for face masks for infants and those under 3. Then made up a couple of masks for the wee ones across the road. When I want to get something important done, I do it without delay.

I am enjoying a cuppa and listening to the news. At least I think it's the news, sounds the same as yesterday. Why does it feel like Groundhog Day?!?
