          Aloha everyone,

I've had a long wander around the garden early this morning and it was rather chilly. More of the Spring flowers are opening or trying to open and a lot of our lilac trees are doing very well. :blue thumb:

I did some deliveries yesterday of remedies to some of Mrs Shiney's patients who are isolating. One of them invited me in for a cuppa! :hate-shocked:  I politely declined. :)

          Keep well.

          Aloha!

              Good day
It is 27f umm, about -3 or 4C and there is a dusting of snow on the ground. But we are expecting sunshine so that makes things more pleasant.

After I've churned the first batch of ice cream, I think I will search online for a nice purse pattern. I decided that some of these fabric samples which I had cut out of display books and washed, are just a bit too stiff/thick for face masks but if patchworked would make a lovely bag. I don't want a large bag just the old fashioned purse size so should be interesting finding a pattern.

I didn't put much on my to do list for today because I didn't list anything I didn't feel like doing! So it is playtime today

Have a super day everyone, we're getting closer to the downhill coast with this virus

                Aloha everyone,

I hope you are all OK. :)

Orders for plants are coming in well but they are also asking for ones that are not on the list I sent out.

It's another beautiful morning after a chilly start. I'm hoping to have permission from the boss to go from light duties to slightly heavier ones - as I want to get some mowing done.

                Keep well

                Aloha!

......you just can't resist your new toy @shiney ;)....take care and don't overdo it.

Like you I didn't do any ' heavy ' work either, apart from lugging everything in and out of the greenhouse and pricking out seedlings yesterday.

Another great day to be enjoyed out there, the sun is out in full force.:firesun:

                        Good day
It is still bitter cold out there. We are breaking records for coldest temperatures. And today it is cloudy just to make it more miserable! No free water, just miserable.

Happy that I found a couple of patterns to try out. The fabric piecing is going to take some time as it has to be sewn and then topstitched and picking out which materials go next to each other is a bit of a conundrum. I have ordered hardware for them and also some heavy 60" wide faux leather at $30. a yard. Faux because the real hides are very costly ($10+ per square foot) and I do not know if I will be any good at this type of project and don't want to waste a bunch of money. I'll probably order more faux in pastels for the spring to do this purse. If it works out well, I'll do it in the fall in plaids as pictured :)

Got the butterscotch ripple to churn today and of course taste test to make sure it is okay  And other than that, nothing structured.

Have a super day everyone :)

@Upsydaisy I can always use a second opinion. Here's one of each, chocolate, butterscotch ripple and the maple walnut I made a few days back :)

I don't drink milk so in order to keep my calcium levels up, the ice cream helps..

Hmmmm yum yum...now if I had to choose my fave it would have to be the Maple Walnut as I've never had that before....but it's a close call because they were all fabulous!!:dbgrtmb:
