Hope this finds you full of the joys of spring!:)

Looking forward to a drier day today out in the garden. My mind is willing but not too sure about the body...all this damp cold weather is playing havoc with my joints and I'm so achy this morning. Undoubtedly once I get going and warm them up they will ease a bit.:)

    Have a great day!

          Good day
@Flumpy you're a little pixie! I'd stand out like an amazon next to you :) Nice pic and glad you've all got the gear you need.

It is cloudy here right now but I think we'll be getting some sun later. I'll get more mask linings cut this morning and try to have some time outside this afternoon. I want to have the linings cut before the outside fabric even gets here. I'm not making any money to speak of (enough for a box of tea) on this job because it is for a good cause. Got 250 cut, so halfway there and hoping 50-60 hours total will do the job since I'd rather be outside when the sun shines. ;)

Today was everything day so rubbish, yard waste, recycle are all out at the kerb. Always like a good clearout.

Have a good day all :)

Good morning everyone, another week of lock down over with.....we're slowly but surely getting there.:)

It's looking like we're going to have a lovely day today, the sun is out and the predicted temps are good. Everything in the garden will now begin to grow rapidly after the recent rains...so plenty to do!!:)

            Have a great day!:spinning:

              Aloha everyone,

I'm feeling quite a lot better now and I shall get some work done out there today. :dbgrtmb: I'll just need a neck and shoulder massage before I go out and have booked my favourite masseuse :heehee: to do it for me.

              Keep well

              Aloha!

Mmmmm!!....how lovely that's what I could do with too @shiney . The whole of my right arm( hand ,elbow and shoulder included) is so very painful ,even to touch the skin itself!
I know I have arthritis there but this is not letting up. I think I damaged it a while ago, as it has be hurting for over 6 wks now, when I dug over my Dad's Wildlife area.
It's so bad that I really can't even pour the tea out of the pot ...can't even lift a full teapot:yikes:, now whimpy am I now!!

@Upsydaisy is it possible that you have a trapped nerve? In which case you should see the doc.

No @shiney definitely not the same pain. I do suffer with that a lot too! But no I think it's a combination of Arthritis and Bursitis, had injections in shoulders and one elbow 2 years ago. Although gardening is a great form of exercise, it can play havoc with weak spots and I hate succumbing to my ailments.....stubbornly!!

I've had Bursitis quite a few times now and sadly I have the type that ends up needing hospital treatment.

                        Good day
@Upsydaisy :grphg: I can't imagine having that kind of recurring pain. I hope when the weather gets warmer, it helps get rid it.

It is fairly sunny here. I'll spend the morning cutting the outside fabric for the masks. It is much thicker fabric and I can't cut 4 layers at once like I did with the lining so it will take much longer. I've got blisters already!

I do plan to spend the afternoons outside because it is going to be very pleasant for the next few days and I don't want to miss the free vitamen D :)

Take care all and I hope you start feeling much less pain and a lot more bendy! :)

At the moment the weather is matching the mood, grey although it is supposed to be sunny today.

Today is the 14th anniversary of Mum's death so I am off to give her some flowers from us all soon.
We have also been made very aware over the last 3 weeks that my Dad is fading very fast now, since last week he is having to have 9 carers a day to tend to him. My younger sister is still down staying with him but it is hard for my other sister ,brother and myself as for obvious reasons we have to keep away...with so many people in and out including Doctors we can't risk passing anything on as his weakness wouldn't cope with it.
I spoke with him yesterday....he wants to go now.

                          Have a restful day.:spinning:
