    Aloha everyone,

That's an understatement. The service, accommodation and food were fantastic! :hapydancsmil:

    We're back in reality now.

The hotel that we were put in (just two nights) when we arrived was a bit different. We had an all singing, all dancing loo. :heehee: As you approached the door the lid of the loo went up and the lights came on. The seat heated up and an extractor fan in the bowl started :rolleyespink:.

When you had finished you had a choice, with a remote control, of how you wanted it to convert to a bidet. It could wash you from the front or back, the type of spray it would use was variable in width and pressure (controls for 'pulsating, oscillating, pressure and position) - and it would then dry you with warm air!!!

One thing it didn't do was go to the loo for you! :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

Keep well and have a great day

    Aloha!

Morning all, hope everyone survived the weather OK.
Just looked out the window and can see a large branch in the lane outside so we'll have to remove it in a moment.

My brother has one of those loos @shiny quite pricey but brilliant especially for the disabled. His is a bidet with a dryer function too. We even had to get the people who specialise in them to remove it from his old place and reinstall it in his new one near us.....nobody else can touch them. Certainly the centre piece of the bathroom!!:heehee:

Oh well this won't do better have a walk around and see if we still have a greenhouse, chimney, roof tiles............

      Have an enjoyable day.:spinning:

Good morning all, such luxury some of you are used to! I mailed my landlady over a week ago to say I had a leak under the sink and the push button on the toilet system had broken making it difficult to flush the loo. Her response was it is non urgent and you will have to wait for it to be seen to. Bloody woman!
Have a good day all, take care wrap up warm and dry and stay safe and well. God bless. :wub2:

Oh dear ,sorry to hear that @moyra . Sounds very similar to our youngest son's last landlady....he and his girlfriend only ended up living there for a few months, she was awful!!!

Sadly it not a luxury item for my brother it's a necessity as he is so disabled. He's had his for quite a few years now.:blue thumb:

Hope you get things sorted soon.:)

A luxury loo. My goodness, didn't think I'd start my day on that topic. If they made self cleaning ones, now that would be something I could go for!

It's another dreary day here. Cold - about 16f out there, cloudy and very still so not much of a breeze to help blow the clouds away.

I'm continuing on with the pillows and cushions work and hope to be finished the last 12 pieces by tomorrow noon. Then it's play time :)

I was a bad girl yesterday. Before starting work, I followed a link to a seed suppliers 10 for 10 sale and ordered 10 more packets of seeds :doh:Oh well, my family and friends will all be receiving plants this spring

This morning I received another email/link - another 10 for 10 but this time for vegetables. I deleted the mail before temptation grabbed my ordering finger..:nonofinger:

Have a super day and play safe!
            cheers
            Lori

Good day. I'm late here. Been listening to an old Midsomer Murders episode whilst giving the kitchen a good scrubbing. I should have been cleaning the workroom after finishing the sewing but wasn't in the mood as I'd already been cooped up in there for days.

@shiney I bet those toilets are a fortune!

Off now to get some banking and shopping done.

                  Cheers and play safe! :)

I'm just about to start on making an oxtail stew. It should be ready for tomorrow - and enough for about five days. :hapydancsmil:

Morning @moyra , have you had your plumbing fixed yet?

I have had a sore throat for a couple of days now so I'll have to keep a bit of a distance from my Dad today. I'm not planning on doing his garden today, just a bit of a tidy round and time to enjoy each other's company.:)

                        Have a great day.:spinning:

                            Aloha,

@Upsydaisy wish you better :blue thumb:

Heavy rain earlier but sunny now. I'll continue to work on the oxtail stew. Once all the fat has settled and set on the top I can skim it off. Then I can add the veg and finish cooking it. It tastes yummy already. A good winter stew.

I want to get some gardening done but my knee has started giving me more problem than usual. It's hurting quite a bit and a sharp burning sensation in the middle of the knee cap. I'll try a bit of walking to see if it needs some exercise.

Keep well and have a great day
