we’ve had a lot of rain in the NW, and more to come later, we are having to call the council for pest control as we have seen one big rat digging three large holes in our garden, one leading under our decking which we are thinking of getting rid of now.

@Flumpy that is interesting that you can call someone to take care of pests. Over here, we're on our own. That is why I do my own trapping etc. It is too expensive to call in the professionals.

I've got a puttering day ahead of me. It will be a high of 76f and sunny so very nice for doing jobs around the yard.

It rained again last night. Heavily. So I have no watering to do, just rework the irrigation lines in the raised bed. I had two lines in there and small sprayer and will be changing over to one centered line and with mini sprinklers.

I'm also going to do a few loads of laundry because it is an excellent day to dry outside and I love the smell of line dried bed linens.

Altogether it will be a pleasant day and I hope everyone has the same

 

Hi Lori, yes you have to pay the council £22 to put the treatment down, it’s dug a massive hole under my plants . Have a lovely day Lori

I've got three episodes of my beloved corrie to watch this morning and there are always long commercial breaks which provide enough time to get the rest of the kitchen tidying and window washing finished. Then I go out to play.

We are having another sunny day with temperatures running around the 75f mark. Really comfortable and will be super pleasant to be outside. I believe that I have the watering lines in the back gardens all set up properly and will test them this morning to make any nozzle adjustments that need doing. I didn't do that yesterday because the night before we had a heavy rainfall.

Apart from shoulder keep clicking in and out and shooting pain down my arm I am not too Bad, My other problems are just that and I try to ignore them. Am waiting to hear from the consultant when I have to go for the camera job. He said about three weeks but I told him I was still isolating so he said ok we'll make it August/September Thanks for asking @Flumpy . Take care yourself and God bless.

Good day
I decided to wash the roofs of the greenhouses today and did the first one before my cuppa. It was the worst as it is partly overhung by my crabapple tree and even though I use screening, the troughs still get clogged. I needed to do this before the autovent started opening rather than having to disconnect and reconnect it.

I had a client from the past email me on Friday and for the life of me, I could not remember her and I archive my worksheets that are over five years old and was too lazy to pull hers out on the weekend and, this is weird, I remembered who she was in part of a dream last night. And remembered that bit this morning. How lucky is that?

It's going to be another sunny temperate day of around 75f as the high. Couldn't get better
