Good morning everyone , hope you're all feeling well and looking forward to a great Bank Holiday ...last one until Christmas!!

Son and I were up until almost 3am , chatting and playing games while the others slept, he's a night owl like me and is rarely in bed before 1am even during the working week.

Not sure of our plans yet, we have a few in the offing, just a case of which to follow!

        Have a great weekend!

          Good morning Upsydaisy :spinning:
We are currently waiting for British Gas as they had to order the part yesterday, they said they will be back today between 8am -6pm, so got up early after only getting 3 hours sleep  fingers crossed the boiler will be working later.

hope everyone has a lovely sunshiny day :wub2:

            Aloha everyone,

We have been getting lots done in the garden, mainly cutting back as the ground is too hard and dry to dig the weeds out. Both of us have been badly bitten - or from the insects' point of view - well bitten.

Guests today so shall start prepping food soon but don't feel much like it at the moment.

            take care

            Aloha!

Morning all, hope your weekend is going well.
We have woken to another lovely sunny day so plans are for a BBQ at lunchtime. We are just chilling out in the garden today, chatting and enjoying each others company.

Have a great day too .:spinning:

Shiney, I too got a strange rash on my chest after trimming back some large shrubs that was getting out of hand, thankfully the rash has gone now :blue thumb:, hope you and Mrs Shiney are relaxing in between?

                    has anyone seen Moyra?

I hope your rash clears up. My bites all turn into blisters (over 50 of them) and most are very itchy with just small blisters. One, between my big toe and the next one has a blister about 1" in diameter and 1/2" high. We keep draining it and disinfecting it but it comes back up again within an hour or two. It has been nearly a week now. :rolleyespink:

Guest left recently and I've done all the washing up.

I hope to be able to take things easy tomorrow as my back is protesting about yesterday's bending during weeding etc. I'll still need to pick beans.

Thanks @Flumpy but it's not from a plant. It's some sort of tiny insect which we have not been able to detect and they start off with a red itchy area with a dot (puncture wound ) in the middle. It happens to me in the summer when I'm working in the veg plot area but is worse than usual this year and even Mrs Shiney has now been bitten as she spent three hours working in that area the other day. :dunno:

                              Good morning everyone.

Sorry to hear about your back @shiney , it's trying to tell you to to ease up on your continuous work in your garden!! Listen to it and take a couple of days break...garden chores will always wait for you.
                              :grphg:x

Cloudy here this morning, hate to say it but we are getting a bit desperate for some rain, the ground is so very dry.

Son and girlfriend are returning to their home later this afternoon, so a final catch -up session for us until then. I'll have a couple of days of parents withdrawal symptoms to work through ....poor hubs has learn to put up with me!!:heehee:

We've had a really lovely weekend..so a little end suffering is well worth it.:)

                              Enjoy your Holiday Monday! :spinning:
