Even though we only had 10 minutes of rain ( so far!!) everything looks and smells so fresh and lovely outside.

Yes @shiney you can use any library within the county depicted on your library card, you can normally take books back to anyone of them too , not necessarily the one that you loaned it from.

 

No I've never done it to our small local one either, but I'm sure in times of need they would rather that than have lost or overdue stock to hunt down.

I have two cards ,one personal and one for my work. Always had a minimum of 30 ( work related) books taken out and returned every fortnight.... then of course there were my own too!! Certainly got a good workout walking to the library carrying them all!

 

Shamed to admit I have not been to a library in years. I have my regular delivery of Peoples Friend delivered each week which I very much enjoy the stories within that publication but otherwise I have stacks of books that I ought to find a home for. Have a good day everyone and take care.

Good morning everyone, damp start here too @Flumpy and it looks set to stay the day , but we don't mind as our poor garden is desperate for water.

The leaves are definitely beginning to flutter down with intent. At the moment it looks to be a poor year for acorns, that's our biggest nuisance as all 3 patios get covered by them and stepping on them when on a hard surface is like stepping into a pair of roller skates!!! I worry about any unaware delivery workers who might come a cropper!
Hopefully this year won't be quite so bad

Hi all, carpets ordered and ready to be fitted next Saturday woohoo , also got my hubbies present as it’s our 13th Anniversary tomorrow in which we are going to a Italian restaurant for a romantic meal, so thought I best get my hair done (a good excuse to be pampered too) I’ve took a photo of my new haircut….. wait for it …………..
