YAWN, YAWN, WAKEY, WAKEY - 2021

Hi all sorry I’m very very late, I forgot to charge my mobile this am before work, it’s been very heavy rain here for the last two days and more to come, lots of people coming in our chemists with colds this year, we noticed last year when most people where wearing masks there where hardly anyone with a cold, in fact our Lemsips went out of date .

Yes they said on the news a couple of days ago that they predicted a high rate of people getting cold this winter. Fun times ahead!

A day of mixed emotions as it's our 42nd Wedding Anniversary and looking back over some pics you realise just how many family and friends are sadly no longer with us today.

Started preparations for bringing tender plants undercover, definitely nippy early morning and at night now. Brrrrr!!!

Having our flu jabs today followed by a grocery shop.

Brought some of my houseplants back in after their "summer holiday".
Planning to move cacti in from the greenhouse soon as I would like to clean some of the glass before moving tender plants in for the winter.

 

Yes that's the preping bit, glass cleaning, anti-bacing pots etc....

 

Orleander brought up close to the flat and will be covered in fleece before the frosts start. A few Geraniums to be brought in too. I have noticed a lot of mention of adverts for the big C already it will be on us before we know it. Have a good evening all.
