Full steam ahead in the garden at this time of year isn't it...in a weird way I like preparing it all for winter as it incorporates planning and hope and optimism for the next year.

I'm not wanting to be overly optimistic and jinx things here, but I've been feeling a tad better in myself over the last few weeks.

Good morning Upsydaisy and all who have risen!
Just been putting new curtains up and now clearing up leaves, hoping to trim my shrubs later if it stays dry

 

Good morning all, hope your all well?, my in laws are coming at 10.30am for a visit so I’m up early as I’ve things to do, I got the shrubs and trees trimmed yesterday and later today I’m going to cut the lawn while it’s dry.

How are you all doing?

The leaves are definitely beginning to tumble down now aren't they, so I thought I would post an appropriate pic.

Another good day is promised so I will continue clearing a border of unwanted plants in readiness for next years 'revamp'.
Getting a bit anxious now as big bare gaps are appearing in the borders ..hope I haven't been overly ambitious . Hubs is being supportive of my efforts by coming over and reassuringly telling me that I'm doing a very good job ( at decimating the borders )

Oh well we'll see if the vision in my head becomes reality and ....more importantly a bit easier to manage.

Our neighbors shrubs are a bit out of control, I was itching to cut them but best be on good terms

It's surprising what continues to fight for survival in this bit of late 'heat' and sunshine.
