YAWN, YAWN, WAKEY, WAKEY - 2021

Good morning everyone sun is hovering above the clouds but not ready to make it's appearance yet.
We are off up to London for the weekend and judging by their forecast it seems non-existent up there!!

Morning Upsydaisy, we answer our phone all day long, people complain because they can’t get through due to the amount of phone calls, mainly because they want to order there prescriptions through us instead of doing it themselves direct, we always tell them, it’s 48 hours before we actually receive the prescription, then if we have to order the item then it’s another day or two depending if it’s a special order, yesterday we (only two of us) dispensed 771 scripts in one day, but customers get really sarcastic when your looking for there one script which was ordered late by them and want it now!, we want to help everyone, but it’s hard when they shout at you because they mumble there name or address and you can’t tell what they say then take it out on you

 

Sorry….. forgot to say have a nice day all, looks like a dry day until 11pm in the NW so a little more tidying in the garden

 

Hope your all well?, it’s very wet here so no gardening for a while as it’s in for the week, we are off to B & Q to look at different colours of paint for our back spare room now then grocery shopping, have a nice day all

Upsy is up in London this weekend with Hubby and the Boys (or one of them), back home tomorrow. It has been very quiet here today. We are just being Lazy Sunday folk here.

 

Not seen Moyra for a while, I’ve just been doing washing and putting shopping away, also had three people ring having a catch up

Hi, just recuperating after a 5 and a half mile walk.
Had a couple of stop offs for coffee. Son has a dodgy ankle and has an MRI scan booked tomorrow, so we've both done well .
I will post pics on Your Day ( apart from gardening).

You must be exhausted @Upsydaisy It must have been nice to have some coffee brakes though, and I hope you've had a good night's rest.
Also hope your son's ankle will be all right.

That's better! Feel more human now after a good night's sleep!

How are you all?

We had a super weekend, albeit it the journey was a pain....so many roadworks!! Once we got into London that bit was a doddle.

I always feel that a weekend away is more beneficial than a holiday of a couple of weeks...it refreshes just like a power nap is supposed to do ( not that I would know).

All plants / seeds taken up were welcomed and I have returned with lots of rooted little sections from some of their houseplants ......they have sooooooo many!! And some seeds.
Son's girlfriend and I went to a local shop that just specialised in exotic houseplants and the young couple certainly knew their stuff!! They had an area where they propagated plants too ....with amazing sucess!! You could ask them anything and they had an answer. All their plants were obviously loved and cared for , whenever they had a moment they were checking individual plants for water or dusting their foliage.
Such a lovely establishment.

Our walk on Sunday was lovely...first time we have had the opportunity to walk along the canal. Our youngest use to live nearby and take his daily runs along the towpaths. He loves photography and use to sent us pics of the area.
We sat having a coffee watching the Boat Club launching their huge canoes out onto the water...looked fun!

Enjoyed the sights and very yummy aromas of all the local street markets....sampled some wraps along the way!

When we got back from our hike, hubs and son got busy on some diy....we were asked if we had certain lengths of wood that we could spare....hubs always has wood!! So the two of them were left to saw and hammer away while we chilled with a G&T!

It was great to see baby son too for a couple of hours , he moved out of the area recently , but is still nearby, he had a party to go to so it all worked out perfectly.
