Good morning all, glad to see your all well. I’m so sorry to bring sad news of my auntie Annie, she slipped away peacefully last night and is now out of pain

Good morning everyone, it's a typical damp dark autumnal day here with the added extra of a bit of a wind blowing.

Definitely not liking the thought of short days and long nights at all

Good morning everyone, It was light at 7 a.m. when there was hardly anyone around and it will be dark at 5 p.m. when everyone is around .... doesn't make sense to me.
And they won't put the hour back on until it is nearly April. That doesn't make sense either.

Morning @Flumpy , we don't get anyone walking up our lane really in the evening at this time of year, our neighbours children use to come round at Halloween but they're both older now and probably don't regard it as being 'cool'

It's a gorgeous morning here. The sun is out and it's highlighting the yellowing leaves on the surrounding trees and although I'm not keen on Autumn I must say it's a beautiful sight.
Not sure what I'll get up to today as the ground will be too soggy to do too much with but as always once you start looking you can always find plenty to keep you busy .

I am not keen on autumn either @Upsydaisy but the sun is lovely this morning and I hope to be planting some bulbs in pots later on, after the air warms up a bit.
