Plans today are to visit my brother and then to make a start on dealing with the 'frosted' plants.

How are you doing?

Thanks for asking, but no not yet ,we had hoped middle to end of November but I think there is a hitch with some snagging issues within the complex that need to be done...as is usual. So at the moment no firm date.

Just off to see him now actually.
What are your plans for today?

Im ok thanks, we’ve got the date for my Aunties funeral 16th November so booked the afternoon off, just had my flu jab, so I’m all jabbed up for this year, not feeling rough like the first time , my hubbies brother is playing football this pm so if it’s dry, we will have a walk to the football ground which is a 15 minute walk from our new house. We have now finished decorating the back spare bedroom and booked the carpet in for next Wednesday yay! Can’t wait. Ho we have a new apprentice starting Monday and on the 1st of December we’ve got a qualified lady starting who used to work for boots so fingers crossed they stay as Christmas gets really crazy busy.

Good morning Upsydaisy, that’s a lovely autum picture, is that your pond?, it’s dry weather here, and sun is peaking out, but a very cold wind, going doing our food shop this am then have a potter in our garden and see if anything has been blown over in the bad weather, how is your brother?

Brother was OK ,a tad depressed but brightened up a bit.

I have a backlog of indoor chores to do this morning as I haven't been able to to them for the last couple of days for one reason or another, and I don't want them to build up again.
Hubs and I ,of course, love this house that we created but it's definitely too big now and falling behind in chores results in a build up that I find hard to cope with.....so it mustn't happen !!

Hope to cut back all the blackened Dahlias this afternoon.
