YAWN, YAWN, WAKEY, WAKEY - 2021

@moyra I have had a number of echocardiograms over the years and all have been external, shirt off, lay down, cold gel, gentle pressure from the device as it's moved around followed by requests to roll onto side, or move arm so they can see what they need to.

 

Thanks Nigel, well lets hope all goes well on the 24th. What is the recommended treatment for heart failure? I haven't a clue. Have a good Christmas and a Happy New Year. God bless.

 

Good morning everyone

I can't seem to be able to sleep tonight so I thought I would post this pretty night pic.

Hubs put the radio on for me...which I must admit use to help me drop off, but tonight the music was anything but soothing!! I suppose so many people work throughout the night now that they have to keep them alert and awake. I use to love soothing classical music.
Oh well perhaps this soothing cup of tea will work instead. It's now 3am and it's eerily light outside..perhaps that's why I can't sleep, aliens have landed.

Our radio comes on automatically at 6am every morning, and I was awake before it came on but at least I managed about an hour's worth. Better than none .

Good morning everyone. Upsydaisy I was also awake at 3 am. I sometimes watch The Chase if it is on. I struggle to breathe when I am laying down so have no choice but get up. Take care and look after yourself. God bless.

Ho Moyra sorry to hear that sending my healing hugs , when my dad had stents put in I think he said they went in somewhere around the chest and when he had his camera, he said it didn’t hurt, we will all be thinking of you Moyra

 

@Flumpy I think you're referring to an Angioplasty procedure, Moyra's having an Echocardiogram.

No worries @Flumpy , I just didn't what Moyra to worry unduly.
It's only like having an Ultra Sound. I had to have one a few years go , but hubs and our youngest have to have Echocardiograms regularly, hubs had a heart condition and our son was diagnosed when he was 7 with a bicuspid aortic valve.
