            Aloha everyone,

Today's programme for us will depend on the weather but I can't see getting much done. A stroll by the river and some gardening, if the weather is suitable.

            Keep well

            Aloha!

It’s wet here at the moment but meant to dry up later, we are visiting my parents for a cup of tea and catch up then back home, we have a new game to play my favourite catch phrase:heehee:

Good morning everyone, I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas but more importantly I hope everyone kept well.

We had a brilliant one and it will continue until our eldest leaves to go home!!

He still has a cough but apart from that seems recovered from Covid now thankfully. My niece was still testing positive on Christmas day but fingers crossed she will be clear by today/ tomorrow and able to come out of isolation and then her family can have their full Christmas together.:dbgrtmb:

                Have a lovely day.:spinning:

Good morning Upsydaisy, so glad your having a nice Xmas, Xmas day was nice, but yesterday my hubby came down with Tonsillitis, we where at the medical centre from 11.30pm until 1.30am and I sat in the car waiting :tired:so feeling slightly tired, he’s now on antibiotics, they said his tonsils looked quite nasty, just resting up now

Oh dear @Flumpy , sorry to hear that. It will soon ease now he's on antibiotics :blue thumb:

Actually we've been under the weather, but I wasn't going to dampen the Christmas Spirit!!
Hubs was poorly Christmas Eve with a high temp and on Christmas day too ,so it was just me on Kitchen duties. He took a C test just to make sure and all was good, so dosed him up:blue thumb: . I developed a horrendously sore throat Christmas day evening, at one point it felt like my throat was closing over, never experienced that before ,I also had a bout of sore throat about a fortnight ago too. I too took another C test.... thankfully negative too:dbgrtmb:. Still have a bad throat but will just ride it out and keep dosed up, don't want to venture out to a GP or hospital.
                    All will be well.
Hugs to your hubby:grphg:. Men need more TLC it seems!;):heehee:....bless them!!

Nothing was going to interrupt our Christmas with our son this year after he made the effort to join us despite still recovering from Covid.

Aawe Upsydaisy you can tell us any time, I didn’t have a Christmas spirit anyway with everyone feeling poorly, my hubby too has had three tests and all negative, his cornflakes are going down ok and a nice coffee, let’s hope next year is a better year :grphg:

Aww , nope I'm thinking positive @Flumpy !!!!!, on the whole we had a great time..we put the 'bad' bits away in our memories and just celebrated all the positives....all family who have or had Covid are recovering, we have 1 out 3 of our sons with us this year and we have had contact with the other 2 and they are fit and well and having a great time. High temps...sore throats..pfff...minor inconvenience!!

Just keep thinking how very lucky you are.. If I start feeling sorry for myself I just recall the adverts depicting homeless people, starving and lonely people ( often elderly) and then it hits me at full force just how blessed my life is!

New Year is my reflective time...thinking of people we have lost and the general state of the world at the present time...that my tear jerker time.
Then a shake and I gear up to face the new year.
                        :grphg:
