    Aloha everyone,

I wish all of you much better :grphg:. My aches and pains are just fairly normal for a crotchety old codger :old:. Back, neck and shoulder not doing too badly but the tennis elbow becomes a nuisance if I try to do too much in the garden. Using the pressure stocking on my arm helps a lot :blue thumb:

I'll try to get some gardening done today as snow is forecast for tomorrow.

    Keep well

    Aloha!

      Good day,
I sure hope everyone's aches and pains start easing and go away altogether.

Thank you all for your kind wishes for Sam. We leave in about 10 minutes so I'll nip out to the van and get it started and warming as it is -16c out there.

And I have tea ready to have a few sips before we go. :coffee:

sorry this is random but off topic to where it started....won't take much space..honest... @NigelJ
Mine are safely buried in the garden.[/QUOTE]...FROM NigelJ

We have a hell of a lot bodies buried with tombs that seem very randomly sited here in France, but they are not. One of these day I will stop and look at who they are as we have two nearby. One is just around the corner from the church in a green wooded area and the other is on the corner of the N.10 to Ruffec with a building materials company behind the fence. The headstone is leaning against the fence. Many thousands have been buried in their own gardens and woodland any land away from eyes...That is the French Prostestants especially during the St.Batholomew's Day Massacre maybe up to 30,000 murdered because of their choice of religion. Not because of any skeletons...:)

                        Morning @Flumpy .
Yes its a trying time house moving isn't it. Our eldest and his girlfriend were suppose to move before Christmas ....now still no set date. They may have to move out of their place and take on a short-term rental now.
Youngest is also in the throws of buying his first place too. He's just been informed that the rented house he's in now is being refurbishment and all tenants have to be out by the end of March.
So he may too may need a short-term rental.
Not the best time to look for new rentals in London in the midst of Covid!!

your eldest is in the same position as us, it’s now just over six months, we can’t find any short term rental here, my parents are in there 80’s and we can’t move in with them due to lock down, the only option is to stay in a hotel near us which are taking in NHS staff, you would only get room service only, let’s hope something happens next week, big hugs to your families :grphg:

                            Good day
@Flumpy I love that movie Chicken Run. The dvd copy I own has the option to hit a "panic" button and they all do that racing around in the chicken house :heehee:

I'm always fascinated to read about real estate issues over there. It seems to take forever for your transactions to go through the legal corridors. I feel sorry for so many who seem to have to be put out due to the laws making things difficult.

I haven't heard from Sam this morning yet. I am sure they are keeping her busy. She phoned me late yesterday afternoon and was definitely still under the anaesthetics/pain killers. She was telling me she has an IV/tubes into both wrists and how now she feels like, "Spiderman, I'm like spiderman" :rolleyespink:

It sunny and still very cold here but we are supposed to get a bit of a break next week and be back up around the freezing mark. ;)

I hope everyone has a lovely day :coffee:

Hi Lori, I love that film too, I love it when one of the chickens said “are we going on holiday” and “I don’t want to be a pie” :heehee: so funny. So glad to hear Sam is sat up and recovering well, she’s a tough cocky :dbgrtmb:, you put your feet up and rest now you deserve it :spinning:
