    Aloha everyone,

@CanadianLori I hope Sam is feeling OK this morning. :grphg:

I had the jab yesterday and seem fine today apart from a sore arm that is not the fault of the jabber :). I tend to bruise even when an insect bumps into me! My needle phobia wasn't too bad as they coped with it quite well (has been on my medical records for 70 years after an extremely traumatic happening). A mixture of queueing out in the cold rain (wrapped up warm and with brolly in hand) and the phobia kept me a bit shivery for about four hours and then OK :blue thumb:

No headache (apparently a common reaction and Mrs S was concerned as I suffer from migraines), no woozyness or brain fog (Mrs S said she wouldn't know how to tell the difference from normal  :heehee:). After my shakyness went I cooked a very nice curry and I reckon the chillies helped fight things off. :roflol: Should be OK now :fingers crossed:

    Keep well

    Aloha!

Morning Shiney, glad you’ve got your first jab out the way, I was nervous too, as it’s the unknown isn’t it, I had the Pfizer one but my second jab is now over due, I’ve heard they are waiting for a delivery very soon, you rest up now and drink plenty hot fluids :dbgrtmb:, has Mrs Shiney had hers yet?

My hubs and brother get their first jab next week too...a big sigh of relief when they're both done.:)

Have a lovely and if possible a restful Sunday.

Brilliant!! It's the sort of cakes my eldest sister use to make. When my hubs was building and renovating our house she made one of a house going through the same process!
It's makes it so much more personal having a cake depicting your interests

She's not having it. She had a bad reaction to a vaccination 11 years ago and is still suffering from it.

                        Good day
It is a bit chilly, 25f and cloudy. Perfect timing as I am staying in and watching my show all morning. I've got dough going for egg bread, chillie bread, baguettes and panzerotti.

Sam is starting to feel the pain now that they are weaning her off the meds so I remind her that each day it will be less and less as the healing goes on. Sad time for her. But she is doing the few exercises they recommend because she wants to push for a quick recovery. :)

                        Back to my show..:coffee:

Yes very well thanks, just wish the garden would stop acting like a lake:catapult:...There again I do love and miss having ducks about..not the mess they make ...My Call Ducks two are called apricots and the other two not sure.:lolpt:.a little mix maybe.that seems like a lifetime ago now...Still raining and having an old house the roof is old as..1801 the tiles are susceptible to the odd drip..normal, thumbnail_ducks.jpg bob and sue.JPG
apparently.....Two ducklings born at our previous home..one from each of the pairs and they became a pair..inseparable Bob and Sue...Sue lost partial sight and Bob took on a new role and protected her like a good husband.....you had to see them together to believe the care from Bob...:wow:

I am not keen, but have them. I remember after the TB one at school, I got in a bit of a fever and thought I could just smell smoke all the time...I did go up in flames as a 3 year old...careless Mother left the fire guard off...no physical scares luckily but do worry about fires from time to time still....Mr W.has his next Friday and I will be in the Spring.... maybe.....
