Here you are. Raspberry tarts and a few apple. There are 2 more plates like this one. Aha, I now see where the peppercorn rolled. 16139209646511823019481.jpg Had to fill the grinder today.

          Aloha everyone,

A friend of Mrs Shiney is moving away next week and has offered us a load of glassware (she and Mrs Shiney both made glassware - from pendants to large bowls etc.) so we can give it to our charity for them to sell. The problem will be finding her place.

I've Googled the post code and it shows somewhere about half a mile from their road. They're in a country area and their road is more like a mud track - but nearly 2 miles long. So I went along it using Google street view and all it showed was was open fields one side and woodland the other side :rolleyespink:.

An aerial view showed houses (swimming pools, tennis courts etc. :hate-shocked:) but I couldn't distinguish any way from the 'road' to the houses. I've emailed her for proper directions but we're supposed to be there at 11.00 so I hope she opens her emails this morning. :noidea:

My 'meals on wheels' was well received yesterday. :blue thumb:

I'll carry on with pressure washing today :phew:

          Keep well

          Aloha!

They looked very scrummy Lori. :dbgrtmb:

As the above image shows...back to donning the sunglasses. Went to bed suspecting that I would wake with a thumper...and I have!

Nice day ahead so hopefully I'll spend it out in the garden ....must sort out the greenhouse ( again!) Don't know how it gets so messy as I'm the only one that uses it.:noidea::heehee:

            Have a marvellous Monday everyone.

                      Aloha everyone,

Update on yesterday :). I found the house we were going to. She had 6 x 3ft high vases to give. They were quite heavy. :phew: On the way home we stopped to give someone a few Hellebores we had dug up and she bought one of the vases for £20 and gave us a donation of £10 for the plants. So the charity will have another £30. :blue thumb:

After yesterday's early email I had trouble with my hand and it felt as though my thumb had been dislocated . Excruciating pain that continued all day and through the night. This morning I was out early for my 6 a.m. shopping at Tesco and the pain suddenly went whilst I was driving there. Still don't know what happened but shall take it easy today.

Since getting home I have made 3/4 gallon of chicken soup and roasted a whole large baking dish full of chicken drumsticks. :pathd:

                      Keep well

                      Aloha!

Hi there @Flumpy , how are things with you?

Snap!! Yes especially Fri & Sat..full sunshine but we pay the price with -1 nights.

                            But that's OK by me!!

A new garden to explore ,how exciting!!:yahoo:

Thanks for asking, my knee is being soothed by a hot water bottle as I post.
I've been out in the garden all day doing gentle tasks but it nevertheless likes to
                            complain!!
I'm getting use to it now ,it seems to get really bad on every other day so I do tasks according to how it feels.:dbgrtmb:

                              Aloha everyone,

@Upsydaisy I hope your knee starts improving. :grphg:

It was peculiar with my right thumb/hand and made things extremely difficult for me. I couldn't hold my fork in that hand (I'm left handed) and anything that interferes with me eating is a disaster :heehee:. It seems to have cleared up completely. The problem with my left thumb and wrist seems to now be a permanent problem, together with my tennis elbow. Trying to rest both the hand and arm is not possible but I have cut down on computer time. Between bridge, on the computer, and other computer things that I need to do I reckon I normally spend about 60 hours a week on it :rolleyespink:

                              Keep well

Actually not sure if we're going to see much of this today..dry and nice and mild but a tad cloudy.

Thanks @shiney ,hopefully when they get back to me with the x-ray results we'll know where things are heading.

Just a thought regarding your hands and using cutlery. My brother's hands are completely deformed as a result of his condition and he has special cutlery. There is a wide range available to suit all specific needs.

Lightweight Cutlery Range - Eating Aids : Complete Care Shop

This is just a basic example, you can find nicer looking designs too ..

My brother has found that long handled cutlery helped too, especially forks and spoons . His wrists and fingers are fused .
                                Take care.

Well the horrid winds of yesterday have ceased.....for now, hopefully making it a far more pleasant day to be out in the garden.:fingers crossed:
