    Hi :spinning: my pond is only very small, circular and about 3ft wide, I’ts got small plants in it, I was thinking of getting some algae snails, what do you think?, I’ve ordered a small solar fountain too :), I’ll take a photo tomorrow for you. :dbgrtmb:

    Yes please I would love to see it! A friend of ours has snails in his little wildlife pond, however I can't remember my Dad putting them in his pond, but then he kept fish.....not sure if that makes a difference of not.:dunno:

    Can't do a link for some reason but if you go to Forums ( top left corner) ,scroll down to Specialist Gardening Discussions forum and there you will see a Water Gardening section, might have some useful info for you @Flumpy :dbgrtmb:

          Aloha everyone,

          We've been having a lot of things go wrong here :sad:. The pressure washer has been leaking for some weeks now. It's quite old and done good service for us. It still works as well as it did but has a lot of water coming out of the body. I'll continue using it until it packs up. The parts needed are no longer made :noidea:.

          Dishwasher has packed up and I have someone coming in on Friday to look at it. According to the error message it is either the filter or the pump. The vacuum cleaner has also packed up. Dyson say they no longer support that model (don't make any parts for it any more) so I shall take it to a local repairer as I think it is the battery that has packed up.

          Last week I got Ben to replace our mixer taps in the kitchen as I can no longer manage to do work crouched down under the sink. :old:

          At least my garden fork and spade still work. :heehee:

          Although it's dark outside I have a bird sitting on the windowsill singing to me. I don't know what it is as it's too dark to see anything. :)

            Oh gosh @shiney you're having a bit of a 'run' of things going wrong!! It's strange how that often happens....I think things breakdown in sympathy of each other!!!!

                  The vacuum cleaner is being picked up this afternoon (full service for £29.99) and being service in the car port.

                  Mrs Shiney's car has been picked up for its MOT.

                  I've just renewed both our landline bills and the broadband for a total increase of 38p per month (for the two - not each :)).

                  Off out into the lovely sunshine now. :SUNsmile:

                    Just popped in for a moment to say Happy Birthday @Flumpy ! I hope you have a wonderful day. :)

                    I wish I was over there Shiney as I would come over fix your dishwasher for you. My Miele had a problem with the water pump last year so I fixed it and cleaned the filter whilst I was at it. A bit of a learning curve but quite doable.

                    I've got very busy days ahead as well as having been run off my feet. Just had my designs accepted for window treatments for a 30 window project at a cottage so the paperwork is almost done. Now it's all hands on deck. Sam is doing brilliantly and is looking forward to making a little $ working with gran.
