Good morning everyone. Washing is a problem with the weather as it is. I have an airer which I have decimated and use the individual rails to stand on top of my night storage heaters. It's a bind but it works.

I trust you are all ok apart from the headaches which is a pain. I still have my sore throat and my eyes are very bad, my glasses aren't much good. I am due for an opticians appointment in February. My eye hospital appointments seem to have gone to the wall like my kidney ones as well.

Have a good day, take it easy and stay safe and well. God bless.:)

        Good day
@moyra hopefully the covid jabs will bring things back to normal in the near future and you will get the attention you need. @Upsydaisy like your new look however I pictured you more as Minnie rather than Goofy!

Another cloudy day but later the guessers say things will clear up and we will see the big yellow ball for 3 or 4 days in a row! Of course when the skies clear, the temperature drops but I'm in the mood for sunshine and don't care about the cold :)

Son has gone off to work and I've already laundered his bed linens and made up his bed. He is away the weekend so will come back to a fresh room. Sam is just going for a bandage change today. And I really don't have a lot of plans so another day of puttering.

        Cheers all, keep safe :coffee:

            Morning all,
Feeling miserable today. It is so grey, damp and dreary outside. Had a rubbish nights sleep a the dogs were noisy either tippy tappying around, dreaming and wooting or licking their paws.

I feel like I've got cabin fever. Was going to walk the dogs out in the woods again today but when I got their leads out they both wouldn't budge out of their bed or off the sofa. (They like lounging about in the morning).

I did pilates last night so might do another session this morning. I don't feel awake enough to do my other more active exercise class.

Ugh. Is anyone else fed up of every day being pretty much the same right now?

Morning all, yes cabin fever has definitely kicked in here too @Snorky85 . Still waiting to hear about an X-ray for my ( now) incredibly painful leg....so can't even walk far at the moment, hubs went out by himself yesterday. Might try to get him to do a shorter walk today, then I would go with him.

              Let's have a group sing song....:dbgrtmb:

                      Good day
@Snorky85 I find that my days are all rolling into one. I do have lots to keep me busy but not being able to sit and have a cuppa with friends now and again has really made my days a blur.

A lady I worked for a few years back wants me to give her some ideas on what to do with the interior of her newly renovated cottage. I told her I could go see her but distancing and hand sanitizing and masks will be part of the visit. She's good with that. I'll see her late this morning. Even a business visit is better than nothing!

The sun is breaking through the clouds which will make the day much more pleasant. The greenhouse gets up to "room" temperature when the sun beams on it and Sam loves sitting out there when it is like this.:blue thumb:

                      Cheers all :coffee:

                        Aloha everyone,

We don't seem to do a lot (apart from me playing bridge online and Mrs S dealing with a few patients online or by phone) but our day is reasonably OK as it's broken up with doing a number of small things.

Yesterday I had to deliver (suitably maksed and distanced) a remedy to a 90 year old and some remedies and six chilli plants to an 80 year old. Mrs Shiney came along for the ride.

Early this morning our gardener turned up to finish the leafing that I can get to (too much bending) and to start on pruning the fruit trees. During the morning someone was picking up two chilli plants and the final one is going at 4.30. We don't meet the people, except at a distance, as they are entitled to come along to pick up fresh food.

I have to go to the surgery/pharmacy later this evening.

Just had a phoned order for another 20 jars of honey from the little health shop in the nearest town (money goes to the charity with 50% to the shop) so shall deliver tomorrow morning.

I'm still trying to organise for the vaccinations to be done in the village :blue thumb:

                        Keep well,

                        Aloha!

Good morning everyone,I keep telling myself that Spring is round the corner but if we are all still in lock down that's not a lot of use. Glad Sam can sit out in the sunshine Lori, sure that will do her good.

Have a good day all, take it easy and above all stay safe and well. God bless.:)

                              Good day,
We had some excitement yesterday. The hospital called to say Sam's operation will be on the 29th, less than three weeks away :) No, we'd prefer that she didn't need one but yes, fantastic that we don't have to wait a long time to get the solution to her problem in the works. :)

Just doing some laundry today and puttering. I checked my credit card and the one seed order has been charged to it so I am delighted that it is probably being prepared for mailing. And with that in mind, the weenie bit of gardening I will be doing will only be making soil blocks. It is house plant seeds that my son wants to start and nurture so that he can have the beginnings of a jungle for when they (he and Sam) get into their new digs. Lots of time for getting the seedlings going as they can't move until Sam is well on the road to recovery.

And I'm in a cheerful mood so I think I'll have Christmas cake for breakfast. No, not my "special" one, just ordinary fruit cake. Okay. No, have some boiled eggs and soldiers for breakfast Lori :nonofinger: .... and Christmas cake for lunch :yahoo::heehee:

Cheers all and play safe :coffee:

                                Aloha everyone,

I've done my deliveries and then some gardening until my fingers were too cold to feel. Nice and warm now. :) It's feet up time, ease my back and massage my thumbs and wrists and pig out on some crisps.

                                Keep well

                                Aloha!
