Just hope our greenhouse survives....the wind tends to be strong in our area anyway ..a wind tunnel!!

Even tonight at 9/ 10 pm is still around 50/ 51 mph!! :yikes:

Apologises for barging in on the thread ( I am nosy sometimes and check in ) I noticed Flump and Upsy were asking about Verdun . From the last I heard last year he's doing fine happily tending to his garden and helping one of the neighbours out . I think he got a bit fed up dealing with arguments on various forums in the end unfortunately and called it quits.

I noticed you've moved Flumpy I know a while back actually but didn't realised you moved more this way . That wind farm looks very familiar .

Hi Perki lovely to see you, yes we moved middle of February, loving the garden and adding our own touches to it, yes we’ve moved nearer to my parents, and work but in a quieter area :dbgrtmb: and off the main road now, Glad to hear Verdun is doing well, I first saw him on Gardeners world, he used to pull my legs saying it never rains or snows in Cornwall wall :heehee:, hope he comes back, How are you?, do you live near Hebden Bridge? Your garden plants look lovely :dbgrtmb:

Yes GW is where I first come across Verdun quite a while back now, hopefully he does pop back on the forum now and again.

I am fine as can be , I live in Rossendale the other side of that wind farm . I had quite a few winter walks over the hills and that wind farm , I put quite a lot of pictures on the forum a while back I'll tag you in them if want to look through them.

Hi there @Perki ...definitely not barging in, lovely to see you here

                    Ex GW here too :dbgrtmb:

Oh I prefer your info on Verdun, I heard that he was dealing with family issues and it worried me that it might have involved his brother.
Whatever, we all miss him and wish him and the family well.:grphg:

                      Aloha everyone,

We had gales yesterday evening (shall assess any damage this morning) but not a lot of rain. It's breezy and dry with clear skies at the moment and, hopefully, the sun will come out to play.

I had a busy day yesterday delivering plants and seeing friends (distanced) and the roads weren't too busy. The motorways had a reasonable amount of traffic but not as much as I would expect on a Bank Holiday.

                      Keep well

                      Aloha!

Hope everyone is well and survived the winds unscathed. We have still to check outside as its still blowing a hoolie out there. Will have a good look later when it will be safer ,not sure yet it that tree has lost its branch I hope it has as it's just waiting to happen and best now as the lane is very quiet at the moment .

                        Keep safe.:spinning:

Good morning all, one of the Gazebo which has been slightly torn finally succumbed and ripped wide open last night. I was going to replace them this year anyway as they must be at least six years old.

Still having breathing problems, I think it might be due to panic attacks at least some of it because when it starts to cause me problems then I panic which makes it worse. Oh well have to see the doctor again soon so maybe we can get to the bottom of the problem.

Have a good day all, hope you didn't suffer too much damage. Take care and stay safe and well.
                          God bless. :wub2:

The wind is certainly picking up again here but I shall pop out there and avoid the areas where we have big trees. We have over 20 trees that are 20ft-70ft high :rolleyespink: The sun is shining and wind is drying everything up now but the rain would have helped the garden.
