Nice and calm out there after the storm. The weather is certainly making itself known to us at the moment ,could have hail showers this afternoon now too.

At least everything has had a sip or two of water and the butts aren't as empty as they were.

Hi all! Sorry I’m late, I finished work at 2pm then had a cup of tea at my parents, it was nice to catch up with them, it’s been nice and sunny but the wind is sooo chilly .

Had a tiny bit of good news and I mean tiny.....I got a 19p rise today, I’ll try not to spend it all at once

 

Hi Wiseowl lovely to see you , it’s 19p an hour, it’s the only rise we have had in five years, we are under staffed and they just keep taking more work on and expecting you to work at high speed eight hours a day, when your working with medicines you really don’t want to mess up, sorry to moan Wiseowl (hope you are well?)

 

Polling day....is it really!!!. We've had no info on who is standing whatsoever ....so if I can't make an educated vote then I'm certainly not making an uneducated one!!
Unheard of but even my sister isn't voting because of the lack of candidate info..
I've gone online and read all their pre election statements......but they all read as glorified adverts...and adverts rarely live up to expectations especially once all the ' enhancements' and ' air brushing ' are removed. They all make promises that they rarely keep.

So.....gardening it is today!

Hi Everyone, I think it is going to be an incredibly low turn out for the vote today. People are just fed up with the lies and rubbish we are fed by the politicians. We are not going to vote as you say there is so little information on who is standing and for what.
