YAWN, YAWN, WAKEY, WAKEY - 2021

Hi @Flumpy , my Sweet Peas have never been 'in'.
We've just had another heavy shower with thunder.....they've had to put up with a lot lately and tomorrow they will have to cope with strong winds yet again as we have a 2 day weather warning in place from tomorrow morning.

Thanks for asking ,sadly it's still hanging on for dear life, despite numerous painkillers.

Good morning everyone, how are you all?
Not looking forward to the next couple of days weather at all. Doesn't help being near the coast I know, hope it's going to be a bit calmer inland for you.

Not a pretty sight but I've tried to tie up and support all tall plants in the hope that they won't get snapped.

Oh well let's get the 17 hours of destruction over with, it can't be stopped.....oh my poor plants!!

Good morning all. Thanks for your well wishes. Get today over and then next Mondays nurse appointment we shall then see what happens next. Must get an appointment with SpecSavers to have a field vision test so I can continue to drive. Then if I get that sorted it will be the little car of mine to undergo examinations and pass its MOT, if it doesn't then that will be the end of my driving, which will be hard since its sixty years since I first hit the road on a motor bike and then got my first car a year later. Long time to be mobile.

Good morning everyone hope you're all well and safely tucked up out of the gales.

Our garden has been detached from the house and is currently sailing out to sea!!!

Joking aside it's very scary having so many trees around us,we are right in the middle
of what was a very large old wood ( years ago it stretched all the way up to where my parent's use to live) so wherever you want to go to you have to pass through all the trees first.....and I have to go out soon!!

Hope everyone's garden managed to come through the gales relatively unscathed.

Been out to check and nothing too drastic occurred. Hubs had to add some extra supports to one tree yesterday.

I was so surprised to see all my pots were OK and that my Sweet Peas were still climbing up their support canes. Thankfully they were in a slightly more sheltered spot.

Have a peaceful and productive day .
