Good morning all, I trust you are all well?, it’s blue sky in the NW and a nice welcoming breeze, it’s going to be hot today, my dad is having his cataract done in one eye mid morning so fingers crossed all goes ok........ you all have a lovely day now

Good Afternoon, better late than never. @Flumpy, good luck for your Dad, I have a cataract that will need removing sooner or later. Right now I am not going to be in my Doctors good books. I missed an appointment yesterday. Tried to ring to cancel but kept being told the number was unobtainable. Declined an invite for my heart to be checked out on the 12th June. Apparently I have a heart murmer?! If they find much more wrong with me I shall just curl up and die quietly somewhere. As I said to the person on the phone who told me about the booking that I have had my three score years and ten and more besides so every day is a bonus and I do not want to spend it being pulled and pushed around.

I hope you are all enjoying this lovely weather, too hot for me but lovely to see the sun and to get my washing dry outside. Take care everyone, stay safe and well. God bless.

 

Hi Moyra, thanks, my mum waited five years for her eyes to be done but she’s so happy she’s had it done, she doesn’t even have to wear glasses , I’m going to ring them later to see how my dad went on. I’ve been sat at home waiting for a DHL delivery, I got a text & email telling me it was coming between 2pm & 3pm, now I’ve just got another text saying it’s delayed , I was looking forward to relaxing in the garden. You be safe Moyra and do what you feel is best for you

 

For the well wishes for my dad, I’m glad to say the op went well and he’s to go back in 5 weeks to have the other eye done.
