          @moyra When you take the deep breathes it is recommended that you breathe in for a count of seven and then out slowly for a count of eleven. They also say you should hold one hand by your heart and the other on your solar plexus. I do it and it seems to help. It's also recommended for asthma sufferers to do that regularly. :blue thumb:

              Guess what? I think I shall do some gardening today :heehee:

              I think I'm managing to get into the habit of shorter bending periods and longer recovering periods. The jobs that just need upright work, such as mowing (apart from emptying the grass box) can have longer periods. I'm still bad at not emptying the grass box until it gets too heavy to lift properly. :doh: :sad:

              I was out there early this morning chatting to the birds and they seem to listen to me. :) nobody else does! :roflol:

                    Thanks @moyra but I dislike sitting around so just have been doing an hour at a time. I dug out a large hole to plant a large Clematis (Mrs Shiney did the planting), have trimmed edges of two lawns, dug out about 50 strawberry weed :mad: and have started digging and weeding another large area where we have cut back about 30sq ft of a Hebe. I'm digging, weeding and making an edge to the lawn as that part of the lawn hasn't seen daylight for years.

                                Good morning all, @Flumpy, Good luck with your car's MOT. My car is 22 years old and recently passed her MOT with flying colours. Mind you she only does a couple of hundred miles a year!
