Have you been over doing it? Have you felt like this in the past ?

 

It was a hot still night and it will be a hot and hopefully breezy day.

Not much on the agendas with this heat.

So pleased you are waking Upsy and enjoy the visit with your friend.

Hi there Flumpy and Vicky..
Yes often got like this when I was in paid employment, but then I did work long hours..often 12 hour days...but then of course I was younger and more capable of such work.
I also have frequent sugar levels dips too but have learnt to cope with them. I have been checked and no I'm not diabetic.

Definitely not due to over doing things..well not by my book. If anything this heat has made me and most people restrict what they consider essential tasks.

Perhaps I self charge as I do tasks.....and because I've cut back on them my batteries have gone completely flat....

Bom Dia Vicky! I’ve woken to blue sky but the temperature as dropped 16c. The 70th doo went really well, it was emotional but happy at the same time, there where the Local Fire station choir, a brilliant band and Roast pig for supper with apple sauce and stuffing or there was more choices on the buffet, brilliant night My friend Vicky her dad will be very proud of her, her mum Angela did a speech & there wasn’t a dry eye in the place, she lost her hubby 18 months ago to cancer & Covid, so sad, he was a lovely man

 

Hi Flumpy. It sounds like a wonderful time was had by all in memory of your friend's Dad. Pig roasts are very popular here ... in fact we have Pig Roast Restaurants ... Porco Assada. Hope you have a good week at work.

It is cool and cloudy and quiet. The granddaughters had their sleepover last night around the corner at son number 2's house. Didn't notice any difference this morning as they usually lay in until very late!

@Upsydaisy I get occasional bouts of being tired and basically no ambition. I think it is our bodies saying, "enough already, let's have a break!".

@Victoria I hope the nights cool down for you. I love heat but not when I want to sleep!

@Michael Hewett I hope you are enjoying a cuppa out in your lovely garden.

I've got a puttering day today. I am picking up a new carpet cleaner. Let the parties begin!!! Okay not really a fun exciting time but I got a great deal as it was on clearance marked down to $150 from $479. And I do know the make and model is a good one as I had one of those which I lent out to someone and unfortunately, never got back.

One granddaughter wants to sew some book marks so she knows to be back here at a reasonable hour because her father is picking her up about 4 this afternoon.

Yes Lori I think you're right.....our bodies know best and we should listen to what they are telling us more often than we do.

Thank you Michael , it is very strange but I get this from time to time. I'm pleased to say I'm feeling a bit better now but I'm still needing some extra sleep time.

I have a few things on my ' to do' list for this week but nothing is that important so I will see how I feel.

I'm dead jealous of your drizzle Michael, we're still waiting for our turn.....not very patiently!!

Yes, It has always been J's favourite. I like an occasional Canadian Club or Jamesons. We visited the JD Distillery a few times as it was not far over the State border from us. Here is some trivia for you. Parts of the South have "dry counties". We lived in Madison Coumty, Alabama. the only "wet county" in North Alabama. This means Madison County was the only County in which you can buy alcohol at a Liquor Store. You can only drink alcohol in "dry Counties" at home. There are no (legal) bars. In Tennessee the Jack Daniels' Distillery is in a "dry county", ie, you cannot drink alcohol in that county except in the privacy of your own home!
