    Good day
It is a little cloudy but still cool so I went out in my jammies first thing to start stowing some outdoor storage bins that I had moved and hanging the cold frame frames on the side fence to tidy up.

@Flumpy I did get the slabs moved - heavy heavy - I think they weight about 75 pounds :yikes: Then I mounted the solar panels above them. I moved the two greenhouses at the side 9 inches to their left to make a bigger space for the wood pile. So you know all the work involved in taking everything out, shifting them and I got the electrics back up operating but still need to redo the water systems. And guess what? After I looked around, just moving the solar panels really gave me the look I wanted so I won't be moving the wood pile after all. In my jammies I moved some of my storage bins to the "future wood pile" location instead. Things are tidying up at a good pace :) And @Upsydaisy I am glad you got lots of rain. I was thinking of you when I was moving the water butt that sits between the greenhouses. I had to empty it part way to get the weight down to shift it. Lots of running back and forth from it with full watering cans to empty into the other butt so as not to waste a drop!

I have shopping to do today and I have to go to the next town to get some gopher gassers. This is the time of year that those nasty rodents are looking for decks to get under for the winter. I hate, absolutely hate rats and won't have them!

And also hello to @Victoria and @Michael Hewett :)

    Cheers all :coffee:

Such peace of mind, we also have a hidden panic button in our bedroom as well as our 2 keyring fobs.

Thanks, at least we get to see him and check him out for an hour and a half before he scurries away.:blue thumb:

            Good morning.

Oh happy days..woken up to a lovely refreshed garden and a beautifully sunny morning.
The only downside is we have to go into town and do a grocery shop.

Apart from that all is good in our little corner of the world.:)

Hoping that the same is for you too( minus the grocery shopping bit though:heehee:)

            Enjoy.

The sun was out earlier but it is overcast now with a fresh breeze but we will have our usual hot day.

J will continue with his jobs on The Baffa and is doing an excellent job. He will meet friend John for lunch and give him a DeLonghi heater we no longer require for The Baffa as we are having an a/c heating unit installed (no date yet).

I had a message yesterday from the hospital saying they apologise but do not have my MRI report yet and will get back to me as soon as possible. J has not heard anything.

I received four ceramic pots from Amazon yesterday and one was broken ... by the end of the day I had received full refund including postage.

Have a lovely day whatever you do.

                    Morning Flumpy

They may have certain rules in cities but more like no car washing rather than garden watering. No, not in the country like us. Portuguese don't garden like the British so there is not a problem. Also they plant drought resistant shrubs/trees. You don't see many bedding plants here, if so, just a balcony or a few pots. The problem here are the golf courses.

The same goes for America in general. When I lived there my Aunt sent me the local paper occasionally and my friends were shocked that there was often more about the garden than the house in the Flor Sale section.

Hope your Mum likes her dress. What are you wearing? When is the wedding?

                      Morning Upsy and thanks.

At least there are three in tact so that is okay. I put pic up in the purchases thread.

Hope you have a lovely day ... probably weeding because the rain will have sprouted them unmercifully! :heehee:

Now I really like that, unique. What is the material? It could even be shortened for day wear. Lovely.

Going back to water bans. I believe the Councils are having to cut back on parks etc and commercial large users of water will have a price hike. I am sure the golf clubs will be hit.
