Bom Dia Cup.jpeg It is a lovely morning, fresh and 18c.

Just another day here. J meeting Donald for lunch after doing an hour or so on Baffa bits.

        Nothing to report from me.

          Good day
There are only light clouds in the skies and the sun is making a spectacular rise. My spritzers went down a treat last night. And I haven't started stiffening up yet from the exertion yesterday so I have a chance to "walk through it" and avoid the whole "morning after" pains. :blue thumb:

I've got a load of laundry in the washer because it is going to be a great day for outdoor drying and now that I have my umbrella set in without even a teensy wobble and perfectly straight (according to the bubble on my level) I shall really enjoy hanging things out.

I have a few chores listed for today but they are all easy peasy. Just sawing logs. Gathering worn clothes to put in the rubbish and cook some meat on the barbecue. I'm going to grill chicken breasts for use in a caesar salad later.

I hope everyone else here is going to have an easy day like mine!

          Cheers all :coffee:

Morning Lori, glad to hear that you're not suffering after the trauma of yesterday.

Yes , leisurely day here enjoying the perfect weather. Just had a morning of moving and replanting a few perennials that I realised were in the wrong place now that things are having a growth spurt after the recent dribble of rain and of course my favourite summer pastime of deadheading.
Dinner is happily cooking away and after having it I'm off to visit friend for the afternoon.

So yes likewise an easy and very pleasant day here too.

I love having laundry pegged out on the line, you can't beat it for freshness can you.:blue thumb:

            Enjoy your day. :smile::SUNsmile:

Hi all, sorry I’m late, back to usual routines (work), I went in feeling all happy and relaxed to be greeted by fed up faces, work load is getting everyone down, so glad I was finishing at 2pm , on the plus side, I pegged all my washing out last night as I knew it was going to be nice, all dry now :dbgrtmb:.

Upsydaisy hope you had a nice time with your friend.

Lori that chicken sounds nice mmmmm :wub2:

Victoria hope you had a nice chilling day :cat-kittyandsmiley:

                Yes thanks @Flumpy I certainly did.

Talk about the blind leading the blind :heehee:..her phone was so slow due to lack of storage so we set about trying to declutter it.:noidea: We both know zilch about technology, I've only had my super new ( and utterly bewildering) phone a couple of months so very much a novice still. We decided to archive some of her ....wait for it....3000 photos/ videos..:thud:. They are all ' precious ' to her, well we did it..but can't find where they went!:yikes: So:fingers crossed::fingers crossed::fingers crossed:. My homework tonight is Googling info about her phone now.

                Wish me luck!!

Another friend contacted me today ,her husband is sadly extremely poorly and was in hospital at the time she and I met up for lunch last month. Well he was in for 7wks and only came home a few days ago but during his hospitalization be caught Covid and subsequently do did my friend too...unbelievable!!:yikes:

                    No :yikes:..have you.!!
That's one thing I regularly do , go through all my photos on both my 2 Tablets and this new phone . I 'thin' them out on a weekly basis and only keep the very best otherwise they build up so. I move them over to my laptop for safe keeping and then delete from the Tablets and phone. My emails get deleted straight after I've read them too.....but I don't think she keeps on top of her 's like I do.

Yes we're both good on updating our Apps.:dbgrtmb:

I know I'm not that competent on technology issues but I am stubbornly persistent at trying to resolve them for myself and ..if I may blow my own trumpet.;).with a high level of success too.
Being surrounded by my 4 men folk who all got their Degrees in various computer related fields and now work with them ( well hubs use to) I have always tried to solve any issues myself.....just to prove a point!!:roflol: Occasionally I have had to grit my teeth and admit to defeat and my lovely men are all to willing to show off their expertise.:roflol:
But not that often if I can help it!!;) :roflol:

Good morning and welcome to September!!

                      I can't believe we've reached it so quickly!!:yikes:
It's time to get a list up and running of Winter hobbies.:blue thumb:

Well I'm no nearer to discovering where the mysteriously disappearing photos went...yet , but have discovered that archiving them doesn't create more storage.....which in the light of a new day is now pretty obvious..:oopss:.

I'm out for most of the day today but will continue the researching this evening.

Have a really super day everyone.

It is a grey morning here with a nice breeze but I am sure the sun is up there fighting to break through.

Nothing exciting to mention here. Guess J will putter on Baffa works.

I regularly clear things down on my computer. I delete unnecessary photos, only keep the best of the best. I never delete personal e-mails and have a file for everything and everyone.

                        Have a good day all.

                          Good day
It is a brilliant bright sky this morning and the guessers are saying the highest temperature we will reach today is about 78f. :)

I too need to sort some of my photos on my computer however in my phone, all photos and docs are stored on an SD card. That way if I need to switch phones or upload to my computer, I simply take the card out, plug it in to the new phone or computer and there they are. Easy peasy :dbgrtmb:

Son number one, Jim has his motion hearing this morning. He is pushing for the girls to have their own lawyer so that the he said/she said scenario stops. His ex is so full of stories that it would be good for the courts to just listen to what the children want. They are mature enough to know that this is much more serious than decisions about who gets the last piece of cake!

Since I got all the little logs chopped and sawed yesterday, today, after the court stuff is done, will just be puttering out there.

                          Cheers :coffee:

Wishing Jim and his girls all the best Lori, it must be so very stressful for you all.

I do the same too with personal emails Vicky. I have files for everything ,I like it all neat and tidy.

Spent the whole day in town and after attending a couple of appointments this morning we then just wandered and browsed. I bought a lovely necklace for a friend who's just had a birthday, she's flying back home to South Africa in a fortnight and due to her health will probably never come over here again. I have enjoyed seeing her and will definitely see her before she leaves. It's very sad to think we won't be meeting up again and share a hug. We'll still keep in touch via video calls though, we have a lot to be thankful for with all this modern technology.

I was amazed at hubs lasting all day ....he's normally not so keen accompanying me on browsing shops that hold little interest for him.
We stopped for lunch and had a lovely Goats Cheese and Leek Tart with Tender Stem Broccoli and New Peas. Yum, yum. We ate it overlooking Southampton Water...it was very quiet with none of the Luxury Super Cruise Liners in dock today. Very unusual not to see at least one berthed up. :noidea:

We went by bus which meant hubs didn't have to worry about parking in the city and could relax and look out the window .:dbgrtmb:

We were walking all day and it's the most I've dared attempt since the knee surgery...and it was absolutely fine, not even a niggle.:yahoo::hapydancsmil:

Good morning everyone, how,are you all today?

We must've had some rain during the night as it's slightly damp outside ,but the sun is now breaking through. Could have a drop or two more if we're lucky later today

Not many plans for today, just need to clean the kitchen . Then search for the info I received with my closed terrainium as I'm thinking of buying my younger sister one for her birthday in a couple of weeks time...I put things away for safe keeping and then can't find them!!:roflol:

I want to also hopefully finish cleaning up and sorting out my bulbs ready for planting out soon....gosh I can't believe it's almost that time of year again!!:yikes:

Hope everyone has an enjoyable day too.

                                :spinning:
