It is a bright but hazy start to the day with a light breeze.

Hope you get your rain today Upsy :fingers crossed: I don't think we will see any this month. :frown:

    A quiet day here.

Good Morning Upsydaisy! It’s raining a little here but I think it’s going to be showers today then tomorrow looks like thunderstorms, typical when I’ve got to go to the doctors, they want to check if the swelling as gone down on my eardrum fingers crossed :)

Lori so sorry to read about the dreadful court case, how did she manage that! It’s ridiculous!.

Vicky what are you upto today? Have the farmers stopped spraying now ? :spinning:

        Morning Flumpy.
The spraying only goes on for about an hour, but it seems once a week lately.
It was gun shots in the distance this morning at sunrise but not much.
Fingers crossed all is positive with the doctor. Vxx

Thankyou Vicky, it’s because since it perforated four years ago they want to check as it keeps flaring up every two or three months, hope you get to have a relaxing day :spinning:

            Good day
@Upsydaisy it is too funny how things have changed. I never imagined myself looking at the weather forecast several times a day and here I am doing it!

@Flumpy I hope your ear settles and they don't find anything beyond the usual when you get checked out. And court, yes, the fight continues.

@Victoria I'm glad to hear it is only a brief period each week that you endure the spraying.

I've got another day of carpet cleaning ahead of me today. I am so glad this is not something that needs doing frequently because it is such a boring job!

Have a lovely day all and I hope your gardens get free water.

            Cheers :coffee:

                Good morning,

Very neat and tidy @Flumpy...how unusual to see a green lawn!:heehee:

Had a bit of thunder overnight but despite having more forecast for the next few days our weather warning for it has been lifted...doesn't sound too hopeful really.

However it's a lovely sunny start to the day at the moment.

                It's a ' go with the flow' day today..hopefully a rain flow.

                Enjoy your day everyone.

It is a nice calm start today ... well, it would be if someone had not started up with a hammer and angle grinder off across the orchards at 6am!!!There is a big old house up on the hill North off us that work has been going on for years and years and years and there is now a For Sale sign.

Taken from our then deck above The Baffa years ago zoomed in (to spy :heehee: ), can barely see house now ... turbines are miles away in the hills ...

Now I hear a tractor scarifying nearby. Somewhere here ...

                  Joys of the country!

J grocery shopping and DIYing today.

                    Good day
It is very grey this morning and quite cool 64f 16c. We did get a long soft rain yesterday which I am sure the garden and lawn enjoyed and I wasn't going to be outside anyway.

Today will be day three of carpet cleaning. I've done all of the broadloom except for the stairs. That is today's project. It is a heavy machine with superior suction and bristles which I will try to maneuver over the steps however if it proves to be too difficult for me, I'll switch over to my little green machine. Not nearly as powerful but better than nothing!

And it is another Hilda Ogden day. I'll wait until after I've done the cleaning as it is a hot sweaty job and today is a stat holiday (Labour Day) so I wouldn't be going anywhere all day anyway. :)

@Flumpy I love your parents' garden. That is a really deep space. The area behind my house is only about 30ft deep by 40ft wide and part of that footage is covered in a deck.

                    Cheers :coffee:

                        Good morning everyone.

We eventually got some thunder and rain last night :hapydancsmil:. and although we're enjoying some early morning sunshine at the moment we are suppose to have plenty more showers today.:fingers crossed:

A day of indoor jobs awaits me, at the moment I'm in the middle of sorting out my wardrobe and clearing out anything that I haven't worn in the last couple of years. It's quite therapeutic having a declutter every now and then.....and provides room for new items to be given a ....hanger!:heehee:;)

                        Have a great day.

Bom Dia Pink1.jpeg The sun keeps popping in and out of greyish cloud and it is a little warmer at 19c with a breeze.

Hooray you got some much needed rain Upsy. I think I am the only one still waiting, but that's to be expected here. Our turn will come.

I may join you in sorting today too Upsy as I already have a few items put by. J is going to the DIY store as he didn't go yesterday (only food shopping) and stop by the PO for a package that has arrived for me.

                              Good day
It sounds like cleaning out closets is the menu for the day. I have gone with having a set number of hangers and if I get something new, something old has to go to make room to hang it. I hang all of my tops, including t-shirts. I remember a tip that someone talked about years ago. They put all of their hangers in backwards once a year and by the same time the next year, they could tell which items had never been used because they were not turned around.

I did clean out the clothing closet in Samantha's old room last Thursday. The i.v. meds she takes have made her put on weight and so I threw out all the "skinny" clothes so as not to have anything here to remind her of the bad old days.

I've got a morning of laundering and hanging out clothes ahead of me and then I have a small amount of shopping to do.

                              Cheers :coffee:

Good Morning everyone, please excuse the mad pic but we've just had a tremendous downpour ...so I took a pic of our plants!:roflol:

Hope you're all well and have a pleasant day planned.

I finished all my wardrobe clearing....Hubs found a huge box of my clothes in one of our spare bedrooms that I had forgotten about......so once that was sorted any spaces were soon gone!!

Today will be bedroom drawer clearing out...this will include my make-up one. It's surprising what ends up tucked away...and I thought I was good too!

                                Have a lovely day.
