The radiators where on 25c but there’s gaps under doors and drafty windows it takes about three days to warm up, I’m wrapped up in a blanket now watching Bradley Walsh in Braking dad :)

              Good morning everyone :)

Hope everyone is well and ( unlike poor Flumpy) are able to keep warm and snuggled up. Can't believe that February is just around the corner!!

              Have a great day!

                    Good day
It is -8c and very still out there. We got about 6 inches of snow altogether yesterday but it is light and fluffy. You can almost "broom" it away.

I also hope your supervisor had the wits to leave the heat on @Flumpy !

Today I go for my booster and that will be my final jab as far as I'm concerned. And then the next month I finish with my second jab of shingles vaccine. After 65 the shingles shot is free over here and I probably should have gotten it right away instead of waiting years. I guess I'm getting jab happy :rolleyespink:

Have a wonderful day and a warm for you @Flumpy

                    Cheers :coffee:

                          Good day
My thermometer reads 2.5f -16c and teensy flakes of snow are wafting down. I've checked with the federal weather guesser's site and it says down by the lake it is much warmer -13c.

I have a very sore arm from my booster yesterday. I thought I was being clever having them jab my dominant side because I would tend to "work it out" faster but that didn't work out so hot
Oh well, a couple more days and that little annoyance will be gone.

Got a piece of fabric here that I have been trying to assess which sewing pattern would feature it best but for the life of me, I cannot decide. Probably just being woolly headed. It is a large boteh/paisley on a very soft knit base. I was thinking of making a top/tunic in a swing style but the fabric may give the wrong impression - I don't want to be accused of cultural appropriation. Anyone got ideas?
                          WIN_20220126_08_26_51_Pro.jpg

And now I'm off to get some breakfast. How lucky I am to only have a silly "pattern dilemna" rather than some more serious issue :)
                          Cheers all :coffee:

Sorry you are aching from your booster. We haven't had ours yet, waiting to be contacted. If they don't soon, we will go to Open House for the elderly (over 70s) as we have priority.
My thought is that it is too large of a print for a top. I love the print and my favourite colours, but it reminds me of curtains. :sofa: No offence meant. :imphrt:

Yes, @Victoria it is a big print. I don't think I've ever seen stretch fabric used for window treatments. :dunno:

I'm thinking along the lines of Mumu. It has a really great hand to it so it would long and drape well which would break up the pattern. This gal has a big pattern on so maybe it would work and I have the pattern although never mad it in the full length.
That's what I get for buying fabric before having a project in mind

Good Morning everyone, how are you all today?

I haven't yet looked at our forecast for today but it certainly looks brighter and feels milder too.:dbgrtmb:

No plans as such as I'm still struggling with walking any distance, can't work out why :noidea: , initially I just thought my leg was complaining at having been examined and pulled about a bit....but that was a week ago now .

Never mind. It could be worse.

I hope your armed has eased now Lori.

What about a kimo style jacket, I can imagine that it with hang nicely with that material.

                                Have a great day everyone:spinning:.
