YAWN, YAWN, WAKEY, WAKEY - 2022

Oh yes @Flumpy we enjoyed our thanksgiving very much . Shoulder to shoulder in my dining room as we were 14.

I've just finished clearing all of my annuals because we had a hard frost already. We are getting a really lovely break from the cold this weekend however silly me had already taken the screens off the windows and now I can't open them with all of the insect flying around. Particularly those horrible asian beetles. I don't want them in the house!

Hello there and a jolly good morning to everybody.

We're in for a ' yuk' day today, so just going to chill and do some reading, knitting and I might even get to finish the jigsaw that I started ( and then pushed under the sofa ) 2 years ago.

I hope your weather forecast is better than mine and that you have a super Sunday.

I have a super busy day ahead. It is sunny and the guessers say it will be mild.

I'm power watching my show as I answer emails. It has been recorded so I can skip through the commercials and am already 10 minutes ahead of today's full replay. I've got to leave at 10:30 to do the installation and the show normally doesn't finish until 11. This is going to work out just right

Hope everyone is well and feeling rested after the weekend.

What a day yesterday was ,one minute blue skies and warm sunshine the next we were at the gates of hell !! It went so dark we had to put the lights on and then an almighty thunderstorm which whipped up really gusty winds. Apart from snow I think we had all the seasons in one day.

Hopefully today's forecast will be a bit more accurate , otherwise it's so hard to plan for the day.

One thing is probably going to happen...a little bit of ..shopping!. Hubs didn't go on Friday after all and we're low on yoghurt , cheese and a few other bits. So that looks very much like a definite.

Apart from that...who knows what will be in store for today..

The sun is actually out and shining, our day is looking hopeful but we have an issue of a very soggy garden to work in now......no happy medium it seems, bone dry one moment and boggy the next.

What fabulous images .

I get like that at this time of year, very restless and find I can easily get into 'bored 'mode.
At the moment everything is wet and soggy underfoot in the garden and although it's mild I can feel the dampness.....not very enticing at all.
The sun is out but at this time of year the garden stays shady until lunchtime, I will definitely go out there this afternoon.

I thought we were going shopping, but the word hasn't been mentioned....so I'm keeping quiet!

I cleared all the Cache from everything this morning....normally I just pick out things to clear. So I have been battling trying to log back into everything. I thought my 2 tablets and phone were synced.....but obviously not.

I think I managed to sort things now....

Just preparing a Quiche for lunch with Salad.

Do you like doing Jigsaws?

Take a deep breath and just relax to some music, maybe.

It is sunny again and 41f 4c . I find those topiary cats fascinating @Victoria . I love cats but can't go near one without taking antihistamines first so I don't have one of my own anymore. I like dogs too, but same thing applies. I think that is why I have clay or metal animal knick knacks.

I've got to get some bread dough going and some sweet dough for chelsea buns in the works for my company today. I like to send guests home with some baking to enjoy later.

Good morning , how are you all today?

All in all yesterday's weather was a mixed bag and it was a case of dodging the showers in the afternoon. Hopefully today will be a bit better.

No real plans apart from the on going task of preparing the tender plants for overwintering which I can do at a leisurely pace due ,thankfully, to our mild weather at the moment. However I'm well aware that our weather can take a sudden unexpected turn for the worse so mustn't slow down too much.
