Morning folk, I am bright eyed and fluffy tailed. I slept from 11.30pm till 4am when I had a quick chichi then off to sleep and woke just before 7.30am.

It is very grey out there and 18c and I heard it showering when I had to get up.

    Nothing special going on today.

      Morning Vicky :)

So glad to hear that you're sleeping better now, it certainly makes a big difference on your wellbeing.

Has the queasiness past yet or it it still lurking?

Now that little cutie is definitely a furball....gorgeous!!

Are you still sorting out your clothes?

We might be going out this morning on a dreaded shopping trip........oh well I can't keep putting it off, it has to happen sometime.

To make matters worse it's the schools half term holidays so it will undoubtedly be much busier.

Enjoy your day and keep fluffing up that fluffy tail of yours. :dbgrtmb: xx

No, haven't had the queasiness for weeks thankfully. I don't feel any difference with the meds so assume they are silently opening my veins.

I never got round to the sorting out! To be honest, I want a nice rainy day so I can sit on the bed with the window wide open listening to the rain!

          Good day
Sounds like everyone is having a great day so far and that is nice to hear. It is a bit cloudy but still mild 47f 7c.

The long awaited bolt of lining arrived and I was amazed that the 50 yard bolt only weighed 33lbs. No problems tossing this guy around. I've already got the cuts I need done and the widths are now drying. That used up 1/2 the bolt already! I use professional grade fabric glue to join to widths of fabric since it is blackout and I don't want any puncture holes showing. They will be dry in about an hour which takes a lot longer than simply sewing them together but an immensely superior look in the end.

Drying time will give the the opportunity to catch up on news before I start in with the sewing. This will be busy times for me. Plus Thursday is a day out with my friends so I will have to work the weekend to keep my promised delivery date.

          Cheers all :coffee:

Just got back from doing the grocery shop in town it was remarkably painless today. Shops were surprisingly quiet for the school holiday times I had expected it to be busy with families buying up items for Halloween and Bonfire Night. In and out within the hour. :dbgrtmb:

                  Good Morning My Friends.gif

                  Morning everyone. :biggrin::chicken:

                  Note that I didn't write the word ' Good'....:rain:

I think we're in for a damp day today , so it will probably be indoor tasks, both in the house and in the greenhouse.

I've got more laundry waiting to be done and at the moment Friday is drying weather day.... :fingers crossed: :fingers crossed:

                  Have a brilliant day everyone.

Morning Upsy and all to follow.

It is overcast at the moment but promises to be a fine day.

This afternoon is my Ultrasound at a hospital in Portimao, about a 35-40 minute drive as they do not perform this at the Guia Clinic nearer us. I have been to Sao Camilo once before to see an Anaethetist. It is an very small, old modernised hospital that was taken over by the private group some years ago. I think it has 15 beds, an operating room and consultation rooms. My appointment is at 3.45pm and it was confirmed yesterday by text. They always confirm the day before by text.

I shall have a soak in the bath and wash my hair ... but that's me for the day.

I hope you get all your tasks done @Upsydaisy

I hope all goes well for your ultrasound @Victoria.

I want to take flowers to Beryl's grave today (late partner), It was her birthday on Monday, and today is going to be the first dry day since then. I'll go after Bella settles down ... IF she'll settle down in time for me to catch the bus. I won't go out if she's wandering.

Morning to you too Michael , I didn't see you there.

Oh dear what's up with Bella is she poorly or just unsettled.

I've just spoken with my sister and her cat has been unsettled for a couple of days now.....perhaps they are like us and get depressed at the onset of shorter days and longer nights....can cats suffer from SAD like us human ? :dunno:

I hope you manage to visit Beryl.

                          xx

                            Good day
I have no idea what it is like out there as it is still quite dark.

@Victoria I've always felt ultrasounds were about the least "intrusive" form of examination and never been bothered by them. I hope yours goes well and is an accurate one time deal.

I've got to get back to work here and I'll be glad when this job is done. The lining is lovely and light but the face fabric is heavy upholstery weight and a couple of the panels weigh over 30 pounds which makes it difficult to maneuver them to the machines/tables. If nothing else, it's a darned good workout!

                            Cheers all :coffee:

Thank you Upsy, Michael and Lori. I have had 8-9, first from breast cancer then my knee/hip operations so am very okay with them. My hair is almost dry and I shall change about 2pm. We will leave here c2.45pm. Guess we should be home c5.30pm.

Yes, Upsy, Van and Munchkin are acting differently with the seasonal change.
