YAWN, YAWN, WAKEY, WAKEY - 2022

Good day
I've been trying to get too many things done this morning and am late!

It is sunny and finally up to the 40's a slow warm up as it was below freezing last night.

I put all those drapes in the van which entailed 8 trips up and downstairs with each one weighing in at 25 to 40 lbs. A little pooped now. But now that is done and I have a chance to sit for a minute, I'm going to try a new tea.
What do you think?

@Upsydaisy it definitely seems to have a heavier tannin presence than tetley or pg tips. I think I like it

Morning all. I do not like this time change as I have been awake for two hours but I did sleep well for about four hours ... second time around as I slept for a couple of hours earlier. Van and Munch don't like the time change either and are expecting breakfast and dinner an hour earlier!

Overcast now and may have showers later.

Yes it takes a little adjusting too doesn't it.
I held out to 12:45am last night ( previously 1:45am) in the hope my body clock would alter accordingly, but I was wide awake by 5am this morning.

It is still fairly dark but I can see that everything is soaked out there. 35f 3c I hope it clears up a bit for the kiddies' trick or treating tonight.

I've got lots of errands to run today. Kicking off with delivering the panels and then onto some shopping including picking up some felt for a group crafting project on the last Thursday in November. There is a 50% off sale finishing today and I needed a couple of yards of red to complete the inventory of supplies.

If it stops raining later, I'll put my talking pumpkin outside. If not, I'll put him near the door and under the eave. The little ones just love him.

We haven't switched to regular time yet so we're only 4 or so hours apart.

Hi all feel like a zombie today, can’t get used to these new time change, it’s now dark when I finish work . I’ll have a pancake please

 

I know this time change malarkey......what a cheek!!, it happens every year too, you'd think people would be use to it by now wouldn't you!!

Good morning.......and a wet one it is too.

We had thought that we might have gone into town ( Southampton) for a wander and a bite to eat, but not now as the rain looks as if it's going to linger around today.

I will probably end up spending the day in the greenhouse.....I know how to live life on the edge!!

First things first though, I must have a look around the garden to see it last night's winds caused any damage. I hope not.

Off to dodge the raindrops now, have a good day everyone.
