Just had a look at one of our security cameras and straight away can see one of the Lavateras downll
It's still too windy to do anything out there at the moment.

It is a lovely sunny morning but only 17c and the sky was a delicate pink/blue earlier.

Van and Munch don't like the time change and we three are on the same bio clock ... unlike J who goes by we have an extra hour in bed in silence! This would be okay if I didn't have to rely on him. Oh, for independence again, it is truly priceless.

J going to buy a guitar after lunch in Albufeira and get a bit of grocery shopping.

Sorry you won't get to go out for lunch today Upsy ... but on the pus side your earth will enjoy the rain.
      Tchau.jpeg for now.

        Good day
It is still dark and my computer is telling me that it is a very mild 52f 5c. The guessers are saying fog is on the menu for most of the morning. We rarely get fog here so that is an interesting change.

Only about 12 children came to the door last night which was disappointing however who can blame them as it kept drizzling on and off. Even though the guessers said it would only be cloudy.

I'm taking a jacket partially apart this morning as I don't like that the zipper has a slight "roll" to it and that needs to be fixed. I just got it turned inside out and because I'd use the Chanel method of assembly (sans gold chain) , it took me quite awhile to find where I had originally sealed the turning access

I've got loads of little maintenance projects to get done and I haven't decided in which order to do them. No rush. They aren't going to grow legs and run away on me!

Have a lovely day all, whether it is outside, in the greenhouse or wherever you are.

        Cheers :coffee:

          I've never found FOG interesting.
But then I've always been hard to please.:roflol:

The zip on the jacket, now that sounds interesting, but haven't a clue what you're talking about.:rolleyespink:

              Good morning everyone.

We have woken up to blue skies and sunshine, not too sure how long for though!

One good thing is that the gales put an end to a lot of plants in bloom making the decision to leave be for a bit longer or cut back/ pull up now a lot easier to make.

I hope you all have a very pleasant day too.

Bom Dia1.jpeg It is a gorgeous morning albeit a nippy 14c, the coldest we have been this year (think it went down to 13c).

I slept well and feel good today. I did a lot of steps (for me) yesterday and plan to do that again today and balancing exercises. I have not been able to cycle for a while.

                Have a good un.

                  Good day
It is mostly sunny and 38f 4c and the guessers tell us we're going up to the 60's :)

I've got a few errands to do. I'm picking up some finger plates for my two garden doors at the back and the front entrance. I don't use the other outer door in the living room much so I'm not bothered buying one for that entryway.

And I'll be re-stringing one kitchen roman shade as the cord has something on it that won't wash off and is unsightly.

@Upsydaisy I'm like you. Once the season is done, I like to get things cleaned up. If it's going to be barren, it will be a tidy barren! My friend brought back his 4 pots and now I also have 4 Shineybred pots to clear too. I may even get the ambition to bake the last of those pots' soil today. It takes a bit of time to get a good fire going in the wood oven so it's at least a 2-3 hour undertaking from start to finish. If not today, then tomorrow afternoon for sure as it is the last of the annuals finished.

Glad to hear you slept well @Victoria and good news that are you stepping around!

                  Cheers all :coffee:

While you're up and around @Victoria here's a storage solution that might help in the kitchen.

Welcome To A Rainy Day! 931.jpeg

Every picture tells a story....

I went over to my brother's yesterday as they are now Covid clear.:dbgrtmb: It was lovely to see him and he was in very good spirits.

When I got back it was mid afternoon and I then had the job of reporting our faulty landline to our provider. This took a while trying to get through to them on my mobile in the end I did it via WhatsApp and the response was very quick and efficient.
They tested our line and found an external fault and will send an engineer round to fix it as soon as possible.

Todays plans will be dependent on our weather which is looking to be on the dampside.

No worries though as I am seed sorting still in readiness for next year. :blue thumb:
I was able to collect 2 different types of grass seeds from the communal gardens over at my brother's place.

                            Enjoy your day.

Dia tudo. The sky was lovely earlier, pink then orangey pink but now overcast and it is said to be cloudy all day. We are a nippy 14c only going to 21c.

Pleased to hear R is well and happy Upsy. A relief for you and sisters.

J ordered me a new computer and it may be in today for him to collect. He got it for half price! Mine has been playing up and I have to keep it plugged in to work. I can't use a mobile with diddy screen and keypad ... I barely manage transferring photos to the computer! My computer is under a three-year warranty so will go in for repair (hopefully as J has had it apart)! Items automatically have a two or three year warranty here.

Nothing else to report here so I just wish all a good day. xx

                                Good day
It is too dark to see what's happening out there other than the fact that when I turned on the yard light, it was trying to shine through a dense fog. And the sensor reads 44f 6c. It's too bad I'm still in my jammies with no motivation as I like the feel of fog on my face when I walk through it.

A new computer. Lucky you @Victoria ! I'm glad you and your brother had a pleasant time @Upsydaisy :)

I've got a little bit of shopping to do in a few hours when things open and then I'll play with fire. Start up the wood oven and do some baking.

                                Cheers all :coffee:
