Good morning everyone and a lovely one it certainly is too.

I do so love a bright and sunny Autumn morning ,all the colours are so vibrant. It's the only part of the season that I like...it just can't be beaten.:)

Lots of things I want to get done today if the weather stays good :fingers crossed:

      Enjoy your day too.

Catz.jpeg ... guess how I feel this morning? Had a rotten night (well, both of us did). I got perhaps 3-1/2 / 4 hours sleep in three sessions. I feel foggy headed and unrested.

I got a call from the hospital at 8.45pm last evening changing my Ultrasound to 5 December, but a least it doesn't interfere with Neurologist appointment on the 15th so I am okay with that. Perhaps he is doing 'catch up' from all the cancellations last week. I could have appointments sooner if I would go to the main hospital in Alvor where I had my ops but Guia is more convenient and most doctors/consultants are peripatetic.

It is a grey start again but sun is promised late afternoon like yesterday. At least we are warmish with 16c now going to 22c.

J is meeting John as usual and another chap will join them to buy two of the seven guitars J bought this week. If the guy doesn't take the one, John will have it!

          Good day
It is foggy again and 48f 10c. Very mild for this time of year. The guessers think we might break a high temp record for this weekend as they say it will be in the 70's tomorrow :)

I'm determined to get the rest of the potting soil baked today so that I can do the final fall tidy up of the deck.

Before that, I need to pop out and do a small grocery shop.

          Cheers all :coffee:

            Good morning .

Having major internet, landline and home security issues this week due to the strong winds from earlier in the week and numerous mini powercuts.

Security issues were sorted yesterday but still waiting for the others to get resolved.

I hope you had a better nights sleep Vicky.xx

I will just wish you a relaxing weekend and make a quick dash to post before things get cut off again.

Morning Upsy and thank you. I had a great sleep, about seven hours in two stints ... so I am having a good stretch!

I do hope you get all the interruptions sorted and get to potter in the garden/greenhouse.

J picked up my new computer late Thursday afternoon and he was initiating it yesterday late afternoon but he has been busy with his musical things so it is not ready to use yet. I have a working one as long as I keep plugged in.

                Good day
It is still dark and 57f 12c so very mild for this time of year. The guessers are warning that high winds will swipe across the area and bring rain through the night tonight. I'll be sleeping so I don't care :heehee:

And talking about sleep, it's good to hear you got 7 hours in @Victoria :dbgrtmb:

@Upsydaisy electronic problems seem to be an especial pain in the behind and I hope your's gets fixed soon.

Today I will be puttering and doing my Hilda Ogden. Later this morning, granddaughter Violet is coming around to help me with a few things. It's hard at 14 to find any part time work to get extra money so I told her I have some blue ones (fivers) waiting here. I'm going to get her to cut some parchment circles for me in prep for Christmas cake baking. This one doesn't care for sewing so when the other granddaughter who likes to sew, Emily, comes over, I'll pay her to finish sewing some Christmas book marks. This way, they both get to earn money and I get to be fair. I detest favouring one over the other.

Well, best get going here. Time to start laundry and don hair rollers.

                Cheers :coffee:

                      Morning everyone.

Internet is working but very slowly at times...annoyingly slow, so I've not been using it.
Landline is still out despite the Openreach engineers coming out on Friday and working up at the end of our lane but they did say there was significant damage so it may take a few more days to fix.

No @Flumpy way too early to sow the seeds yet. Hope you feel better soon...behave yourself and leave those paratroopers alone now.:nonofinger:;):roflol:

Glad to hear that you slept better Vicky, long may it continue.:dbgrtmb:

Lori ,what a brilliant idea! Your granddaughters are very lucky. Do you have any grandsons?

Didn't do anything outside yesterday as the humidity was very high and the air just felt horribly damp. My bones can cope with dry cold days much better than these warm damp ones that cause deep rooted aches in my joints.

Despite the weather it was good to hear all the fireworks going off still last night.

                      Have a brilliant day.

                        Cat Flower.jpeg Morning all.

It is very sunny but nippy out thee at only 12c but going to 22c.

Slept well again, nearly seven hours in two stints.

There is quite a bit of shooting in the distance which we haven't heard for weeks. I read there is a wild boar problem digging up a golf course for worms so I guess the hunters are after them for roasting.

Hope you are feeling better Karen.

:heehee: I thought I read somewhere Upsydaisy was sorting her seeds for next year, I must of read wrong
Upsydaisy we call them paratroopers at work, just a nickname for paracetamol makes us chuckle, I had to have them, the pain was making me feel sick, swelling as gone down a little on my lymph node today thank goodness and slept like a log, hubby as gone getting the groceries this am as footy (Arsenal) are playing this afternoon.

Have a lovely day all :spinning:

Hi @Flumpy yes I am sorting them but nothing more as it's way too early for sowing them.
