Wow, what a beautiful party! I love the colour of your dresses. Full length is always such a glamorous look. You remind me of a row of princesses! :dbgrtmb:

This is my mum & dad ,she’s still recovering from her fall, she kept getting cramp in both thighs at the reception, so we kept going for a little walk :)

Your Mum's dress is lovely. I like the way the seamstress placed the pattern so perfectly. Thank you for sharing!

                      Good morning :).

Today's travels takes us to Clovelly in Devon. I was introduced to this gorgeous little fishing village when I was very young as it was a fave place of my parents. Every summer we would rent a cottage on a nearby farm and for two fabulous weeks we would be allowed to run free on the farm or enjoy days out exploring all the lovely quaint places.

Years later we took our own brood to enjoy the beautiful county of Devonshire too.

Not a very Autumnal pic I know...the colours of Autumn are normally best depicted by the trees, and they aren't many lining to cobbles of this village.

If our predicted forecasts for this week are correct then we're in for a dry week ahead.:fingers crossed: I will hopefully be able to pace myself out in the garden and gradually shorten my long ' to do' list of jobs. I am still very tired and wheezy so I will strictly limit my time out there.

                      Enjoy your day too!:)

Another Italian street scene in Venice. I saw a snippet on the news about it yesterday.
Lovely reminder of me too Upsy, thanks for that.

It is sunny here but our forecast is for rain from Wednesday. We'll see as the last tranche passed us by sadly.

I don't know what is going on today, if anything. I would like J to cut the Plumbago back. Will only take ten minutes and I have asked three times now as it is blocking light from other plants.

Have a good day and week.

                          Good day
It is 38f 2c and sunny but I can see very dark clouds in the distance. They might just skim by to the north of me. :fingers crossed:

What interesting views in those places are @Upsydaisy & @Victoria .:dbgrtmb:

It is quiet this morning now that the granddaughters have gone back home. I haven't got a large to-do list. I had glued together a new pattern and will trace it onto clear plastic to prepare for the fabric layout.
I haven't even sewn the other one I have cut out so I have my nerve! And someone sent me a photo of how to further accessorize one of my domestic sewing machines. :heehee:

Hi all, not happy to be back at that place but I’m not going to waste my time writing about work ;)

Upsydaisy that’s a lovely picture, your holidays remind me of my childhood in Devon & Cornwall, I’ve not been since 2011, think I’m due a visit.

Lori loving the secret m & m draw that’s brilliant! :heehee:.

Victoria did you have a lot of holidays in Italy ?

Nunney ,Frome, Somerset. We use to pass by this village on the way to visit my Great Uncle and Aunt, they lived about 20 miles from it.

Spoke with youngest last night ,he's busy making final arrangements before he heads of on his Winter adventure in 3 weeks time.
He flies out to Spain on the same day we head up to London, so we will only just miss each other. He will spend the night in Spain before heading off to South America the next morning. This time he's away for 70 days.

Our temps are beginning to tumble now, we dipped to 1C last night and I think we stay in single figures today too.

                                Have a good day everyone.
