Ho I had them in a new pot I put my sweet peas in and they all died so I cleaned it out and I’ve planted lavender instead, I’m putting my sweet peas in a different area this year and see how they go, they are on my windowsill at the moment with my Becopa and fuscia, fingers crossed for both of us :dbgrtmb::spinning:

Oh dear!! I may not find any hopefully ,by new pot I just mean the old one washed and sterilized and fresh compost. I haven't actually ever bought a Strawberry plant mine all originate from my Dads. I keep some older ones but pot up runners each year then they all get overwintered in the coldframe. I wonder why yours all died :noidea:.

I'm not bothering with S P's this year....I haven't really got a good place for them. I always think that unless you have space for quite a few to enable you to create a good display then tend to look a bit disappointing.

I've only ever seen on stunning S P display and that was at the last home I worked in. The Mum had planted them along the whole length of their garden wall....the wall was smothered in colour!!! About 50 of them and trained up very fine 'thread' which wasn't visible. Amazing!!

        Good day
It is mild (above freezing) and cloudy. The guessers have told us that the temperature will start dropping later and for the next 4 or 5 days, we won't get above freezing again. Night or day.

Got my first load in the clothes washer and brought the vacuum hose and power attachments upstairs to push me to start cleaning! I've got central vac so at least I don't have the motor to lug around.

I've also got a new pattern to print off and glue together. upload_2022-3-26_8-5-22.png I'll make the body a bit longer so the bottom band starts at around my hip instead of my waist. I've got a lovely deep turquoise fabric to use :)

And I need to bake some rolls. I'm out of carbs to keep my blubber level constant. Honestly, I don't know why I just don't slap the dough onto my tummy and hips to save a step  :roflol:

Have a lovely day all. Cheers :coffee:

I hope you don't feel too unwell @Flumpy, my cousin and his wife both tested +ive last week but they said it felt like having a cold.

Spring is here also @Upsydaisy, and it's nice the clocks have gone on an hour, we'll all be able to spend more time outside :dbgrtmb:

Happy Mother's Day to all mothers, and everyone (male and female) who have the qualities of a good mother  (like mine was ...)

Another day in the garden for me :yay:

@Flumpy picture me wrapping the dough and then watching it rise. And rise and... :heehee:

                        Good day
It is snowing. And the snow is not melting. The guessers had said this was coming but I try to put on my Pollyanna hat and think positive things until they show me that this time they are right! Why is it that they are usually wrong when they predict nice weather?

I have a few chores left to do today. Nothing exciting just puttering. And then this afternoon I'll go to the pub for an hour to chat with some friends. There is one lady who keeps coming over to talk at me every time she sees me and her conversation would totally fit in the moan thread. Every time! :doh:Maybe if I wear a moustache and dark glasses... because there are other nice people there that I have known for years. :)

Have a lovely day all. Cheers :coffee:

                          Good morning everyone :)

Another lovely day is dawning here and I for one will try and make the most of it ,especially as we're forecast a bit of snow on Thursday!! :yikes:

A bit of housework this morning before tackling some more weeds.

My poor seedlings aren't going to like the forthcoming cooler weather that's for sure.

This won't do I have laundry waiting to be pegged out to dry.

I hope you not feeling too bad today @Flumpy

                          Have a great day everyone.

Morning Upsydaisy, I won’t give you a list of how I’m feeling, but if I could pull my head off and send it on holiday I might feel better :cry3: feel like someone as sucked all energy out of me.
Enjoy the dry weather while it lasts :sick0026:

@Upsydaisy welcome to my world! Everything is covered in a blanket of snow and it is 14f -10c. I am supposed to be used to it being Canadian, but I am really getting fed up with this sprinter carrying on so harshly!

@Flumpy I hope you start feeling better soon.

Was doing my Wordle today and I must have my dunce hat on. Couldn't figure out the first letter of the word

I've got loads of little things to accomplish while I putter around inside and it's a good thing since it is so cold out there!
