I can only cook fish if it hasn't got the head on it .

I can't decide whether to take flowers to Beryl's grave today. I didn't get around to it on Palm Sunday week (it's traditional here, don't know about England)
If I go it will be on the bus, I don't like driving through Swansea
The cemetery in on a hill overlooking the sea ... and the docks
I may take some photos (not of the graves )

Not silly at all...it's interesting to get to know all our online friends better.

The only thing firmly on our agenda today is an appointment at the opticians for an eye test, think we're about a year overdue one.
Might do a bit of shopping too as I have a couple of friends over tomorrow for a coffee.....so must go on a cake seeking shop!

It might well be a tad cooler today but on the whole it still looks to be a promising day.

I hope to get round to replacing the compost in the 4 large containers today and making a final decision on which plants will be planted in them.



Also planning on visiting my brother too.

Upsy. xx I also notice it is quiet here lately. I look in daily but do not do anything of interest to anyone ... get up then exercise and potter indoors. As I started this thread some 15 years ago I should participate ... so I will do my best to participate.

Tother Half may try to get the Hibbertia, Honeysuckle and Pandorea off the roof ready for Mondays building works but today the weather is dodgy. Ben the Gardener can't come till the 30th and we had no notice of the building works starting.

Come on now........what do I talk about!! A load of useless waffle ( so love that word) and stuff that's of no interest to anyone.

I use this as a kind of personal diary, very handy at times.

I hope J isn't ladder climbing they scare the living daylights out of me at the best of times....... but in dodgy weather!!!

I am still halfway through the first of a pair of fingerless hand warmers ( knitted) .....typically the weather has warmed up so I find I'm now lacking the incentive to finish them, but I will as it's getting cooler next week and my hands are the first to complain.

I do too and often search back on different threads for reference. Also, of course I have my Algarve Garden.

He will have to ... but certainly not in the rain! The thought of manhandling that Hibberta up a ladder does not bear thinking about. I will have him cut it at gutter level. Even if I could, I don't "do" ladders unless it is the one/two step kind with handle.

Yes, a blue and yellow lap afghan. Currently working around the outside. Will finish next week.

I usually look at the thread and didn't know Victoria created it, but I don't always write something because I'm not a very talkative person, I never have been.
My parents and two grandmothers could talk the hind legs off a donkey, but the one grandfather I remember was never like that, it was difficult to get anything out of him. He was a very quiet and gentle person. I take after him

I hope you've enjoyed your day @Upsydaisy and @Victoria It's been very windy here. I went out looking for wild flowers and took a few photos but the batteries in my camera went flat so I'll have to go again another day to take a few more photos. The hedgerows are very colourful now.

Well I can't remember what I had for breakfast, it's too long ago and I don't know what I'm going to have for supper yet, but it will be something plain and easy. I'm not a great one for cooking. I could live on only chocolate and fresh bread (but not together !)
