I'm about to have my first cuppa of the day. I didn't get the kettle on until after I had started the laundry and fiddled with the cellar grow area. Some soil blocks had stopped wicking up water and needed to be dunked for awhile.

Yes, chores. I'm going to tend to ny emails, read the news and then the vacuuming begins upstairs. And of course there is the lovely job of cleaning the porcelain bowls and other amenities. The upstairs today and the main floor tomorrow. I need to vacuum on weekends to avoid paying high/double rates for the electricity and because the central vacuum system is a commercial sized unit and uses lots of power I'd really get a gynormus bill if I didn't.

Then I get to do some baking.

 

wow Lori sounds like you’ve got a busy day, I’ve just finished hoovering downstairs, second lot of washing is on and one more to go, hubby as kindly put all decorations in the loft, doesn’t it look very bare at first

Talking of housework, I vacuumed the stairs and around the front door - man was coming to service the stair lift so I had to do it out of shame !
With all the building work that's been going on recently everywhere has become dusty. I'll give the whole place a good spring cleaning in a few weeks (unless the weather beckons me out to the garden )

Morning @Flumpy ..I may have said that we're in for a lovely day , but not necessarily a very warm one. The feel like temp is currently 3C....but the main thing is that after our torrential soaking yesterday it's going to be dry!

Aawe Thankyou Upsydaisy, yes he’s definitely back to his self and off the antibiotics . Yes your a bit like us it’s 4c today with rain, but yesterday it was blustery with hailstone and rain, roll on spring pleeeease

The guessers are saying it's going to be very mild today. All the way up to 40f, so well above freezing. A good opportunity to get rid of any slippery ice on the deck.

My beloved Corrie is back to it's usual omnibus of 6 episodes this morning which is a repetition of the entire previous week's daily offering. I prefer to watch and putter on a Sunday morning. Lots of little chores get done

I have a little bit more coverstitching to do on a top I made yesterday afternoon and may start on another top that is easier and can be finished today. Or maybe not.. depends on what my mood is!

I'm glad to hear everyone is on the mend. This is the best time of the year to be "under the weather" since the weather is kinda crummy anyway!
